Ummm...but it's the developers that are creating the "flood" of games. The simple fact is, if you make a great game, you're likely to be able to make money on it. There are a few good games that fall through unnoticed, but for the most part, the truly good games do sell well. I have no sympathy for developers that lose money on a half-assed game or gamers who don't research a game before buying it and end up with a POS. And how would gong back to Nintendo help things any? Sure, the N64 had far fewer games to sort through than the PSX, but most of them were POS too. In the end, the PSX had a lot more good-great games than the N64 did, IMO. You just had to know what you were doing before you went out to buy one. They just announced GameCube support. Being a long time fan of their strategy ganes for the SNES, I'm happy to see them announce something. More important however is that KOEI isn't a terribly big developer with a bottomless pocket. If they are enthusiastic enough to announce something this early, it tells you about the affordability of developing for the GC Dexter Vi On wrote: > Nothing new but a great list it is. 54 games > > 1080 degrees snowboarding 2/2002/1-4/nintendo > 18 wheeler: american pro trucker/2001/1-2/acclaim > all-star baseball 2002/2001/1-4/acclaim > all-star baseball 2003/2002/1-4/acclaim > animal forest/TBA/1-4/nintendo > batman/2001/TBA/ubi soft > crazy taxi/2001/1/acclaim > dave mirra free style bmx 2/2002/1-2/acclaim > donkey kong racing/TBA/1-4/nintendo/rare > donald duck/2002/TBA/ubi soft > doshin the giant/TBA/1/nintendo > eternal darkness/Dec 2001/1/nintendo > extreme g3/Nov 2001/1-4/acclaim > Hot wheels (working title)/2002/TBA/THQ > jeremy mcgrath supercross world/2002/1-2/acclaim > jimmy neutron boy genius/2002/1/THQ > kameo: elements of power/2002/1/nintendo/rare > largo winch/2002/TBA/ubi soft > legend of zelda/TBA/1/nintendo > legends of wrestling/2001/1-4/acclaim > luigi's mansion/Nov 2001/1/nintendo > madden nfl 2002/2001/1-8/electronic arts > mario kart for game cube/TBA/1-4/nintendo > mario party 4/TBA/1-4/nintendo > mario sunshine/TBA/TBA/nintendo > metroid prime/TBA/1/nintendo > mickey for game cube/TBA/TBA/nintendo > monkey ball/2002/1-4/sega of america > nba courtside 2002/Nov 2001/1-4/nintendo > nfl blitz 20-02/2001/1-4/midway > nfl quarterback club 2002/2001/1-4/acclaim > nhl hitz 20-02/2001/1-6/midway > perfect dark zero/TBA/1-4/nintendo/rare > phantasy star online ver.2/2002/1-4/sega of america > pikmin/Dec 2001/1/nintendo > rally simulation/2002/TBA/ubi soft > raven blade/2002/1/nintendo > rayman tribe/2002/TBA/ubi soft > rogue spear/2001/TBA/ubi soft > rugrats (working title)/2002/TBA/THQ > scooby doo (working title)/2002/TBA/THQ > spider-man movie/2001/1/activision > ssx extreme/2002/1-2/electronic arts > star wars rogue squadron II/2001/1/lucasarts > starfox adventures:dinosaur planet/Nov 2001/1/nintendo/rare > super smash brothers melee/Nov 2001/1-4/nintendo > tarzan/2002/TBA/ubi soft > tetris world/2002/1-4/THQ > the powerpuff girls/2002/TBA/BAM! > tony hawk's pro skater 3/2002/TBA/activision > turok evolution/2002/TBA/acclaim > waverace blue storm/2001/1-4/nintendo > > [ To quit the NGamers mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe ] > [ NGamers" (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] - -- Dexter S.
