I remember there was a debate one time on this list in april of 2000(I think) that the discussion was about quantity over quality(PSX over N64). I think the main discussion was about Final Fantasy versus Zelda. But what we were talking about was like "Final Fantasy is not as good compared to Zelda". I wonder if that's what we were really talking about? In any case, Final Fantasy VII is waaaay better than Zelda 64.

I didn't know how to take that at first, but I wouldn't say it was Nintendo saying how you must buy every version of Pokémon. From my experience, Pokémon has retained Nintendo's quality status. May not be for everyone, but it's done me well. The main thing that was advertised with Pok=E9mon Red and Blue was the abili= ty
to trade between versions, which created some huge social craze in Japan.&nb= sp; I
didn't know how to take that at first, but I wouldn't say it was Nintendo saying how you must buy every version of Pok=E9mon.  From my experience= ,
