Does the Gamecube use the same Stereo RCA Composite (yellow, red, and white) cables as the N64 and Super NES? I hope so because I have my SNES hooked up now and I can just remove the SNES and its AC Adaptor but leave the RCA plugs plugged in, for quicker hooking things up. 2. Does the Gamecube have an internal AC Adaptor, like the PlayStation 2 & Dreamcast, so it would use a standard power cord, or does it have an external AC Adaptor like older systems like the SNES and NES? I want to know so I can make space for one of those bulky plugs on one of my power strip/surge protectors. 3. How long are the controller cords on the Gamecube? I don't want to set it all up and then find out I have to re-arrange everything for short cords. Like, are they as long as N64 controller cords? 4. Why is time going so damn slow? Four more days is like an eternity it seems. ** Sanrio ** Congrats on your new Cube. 1. Yes, same cords as the SNES, etc. 2. The Cube has the worst adapter of all the systems. It's not ino the system, and it's not in the plug; it's midway between both ends. It's a bitch because if yuor cords stretch to reach your systems, you now have a five pound AC bundle to deal with. 3. The cords are short. Shorter than the PS2. I have to pull my Cube out on the floor to sit back on my couch, while my PS2 is the same distance away and I have no problem relaxing while I play. 4. Because God hates you. ~Matt Only one other console I have is like the Gamecube as far as AC Adaptors, and it's the Atari 400. That was stupid. I guess I'll probably put the Gamecube on the low shelf (where the Dreamcast is) or who knows what. Man, that thing is noisy, but I didn't even notice it after the first day I had it. Any respectable gamer will have their volume cranked anyway :-) I don't mind having the big box in the middle of the cord as long as it's not dead center (I like it close to the end with the plug). I run all my equipment through surge protectors anyway, so having to stretch a cord from a wall plug is not an issue since all my surge protectors are just sitting on the floor.
