The anology of american movies in foreign markets just doesn't work... cuz they spend lots of time and $$ making sure that the movie is converted to properly for the intended audience..... eg straight up translation.... and nuances... in the case of mystical ninja.... it appears to be translated by someone who's first language clearly was not english.... someone who apparently didn't even have a full command of the english language in fact... I thought the control Here's what I did: I would run out into the hall, shoot some guards, and when more than 1 would show up to shoot back (which is usually), I'd run back to my cell and close the cell door. They will all follow you back to your cell. You can shoot them through the bars of the cell, but they can't shoot you. They will try to open the door to come in and get you, but just close it before it opens all the way. I did this maybe 3 or 4 times in a row, and eventually most of the guards on the cell floor were killed. Then you can go around and pick off the rest of the guards at their posts. I've heard other people use the "silent" throwing knives with some success. The knives are supposedly in the pit just to the right of your cell. I think youl need to use the watch magnet to get them. matt ma [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Apr 1998 09:35:34 -0700 From: win-thug@juno.com (Winston Chan) Subject: Re: [N64] Bunker 2 on Secret Agent First of all, I heard that stealth is the key. I haven't used stealth that much in the whole GE007 game that much. When you start, kill that guy guarding you and Natalya with had chops. Leave Natalya in her cell until you finish all the main objectives. Peek through the window and see if anyone is out there. If there isn't, go into the room with the silencer, kill everybody there and wait for all those anoying guards to come, you should be able to kill them since that are all merged in one doorway. This should kill at least half of all the guards in that half of the level. Now keep going. Be sure to destroy the drone guns and everybody in each room. When you get the video, go to the other half of the level by taking the stairs, but be sure not to be caught by the camera to the right. Never attempt to go through the door near the silencer because if you try to take out the camera, it will spot you before it gets destroyed. The documents or whatever the second objective is should be in the room with a lot of boxes. From their, let Natalya out and stand near the exit. After the timer starts, just exit without natalya being behind you. Here's what to do, being silent is very important (duh). At the start, be sure to leave the prison at the moment the guard is near you, so he won't get time to get a good aim for you. Chop him and you can take the knives but this isn't really necessary. After that, you just leave Natalya in her house until you've completed all objectives. Then, you'll go back, free her and leave the level. So, using the soviet is how I did it, if you know how to use it, the level is quite easy. You have to fire short salvo's (one to three bullets a time), by this, other guards won't hear you, so you won't be killed. If you still have problems beating the levels, drop me a mail. Aside from the funky story.. everything else about this game is nice. I really like the little anime style cinemas for "impact" and the final scene. Overall, this is a fairly easy RPG/Action for those of you who don't care for involved RPG's. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up!. For those of you playing, make sure you talk to everyone as they almost tell you everything you need to know, also be sure to go see the fortune teller as much as possible "PLASMA!!!!" as he will also tell you valuable tips. Kill the first three quards (they're quite nasty, but after while, you'll be able to kill them all without getting hit). Kill the guys in the next room move over the little bridge, don't fall down but move on to the end of the room. Here's a "secret" door which will bring you to another room, kill all guards and go to the end of the room. At the left, you'll see a mainfraim, it's another secret door. You can open it with the nearly situated computer. Go in, kill guards and move on into the corridor. Be careful, if you enter the the hangar the door behind you will be closed directly and you'll be shot by two guards, one standing left and one right. So, before you enter, lure them out and kill them afterwards. Now, enter the hangar go into the right vent thingy with the computer in front of it. Walk on and take a VERY fast turn to the right, I say fast because a drone gun will be ready to kill you (you have to use the strave button as well as the analog stick). Wait for the explosion to come, and sometimes a guy with a laser will show up while you're waiting (don't forget to pick up the body armor). Now, very carefully kill the drone gun, it is possible to see it without it seeing you. Take down the other one as well. Move on until you come at the end of the corridor, at another vent. This major room takes some practice to beat. At your right there are some laser dudes firing at you, but the drone guns are more important. I'll try to asci-art a little overview: VENT - ---------- ++ ------------------- * # * SHUTTLE # * 0 * # - ---0--- ++ ---------------------- $ YOU *'s are drone guns, the #'s are laser guards (don't know if there are exactly three of them). First take out the drone gun nearest to the opposit vent, this is the one which will be firing at you at first. You can, once again, take it out without it seeing you. Next, hide behind the crates and check if anyone's in the vent on the opposit of you. Ok, take down the drone right beside you and try to hit some of the laser guards as well. Now, quikly move backwards and enter the stairs (listed with the "0"). Move up and close the hangar. Go back again, take out the last two drones and perhaps some still living laser guards. Now, go into the other vent and move down to Jaws. If you stand close to him, he won't hit you, get his smart cart and move back up again. Now, go into the vent you came from and way back again until you're in the "secret" room again. Open the door at the left and take the disk. Use it on the things beside it and go way back again to the main room. Now go to the place where the laser guards stood, upload the data on the computer at the side of you're vent (listed in the picture with an "$"). Once the data is uploaded (objective A should be completed by now) go back to stairs again and open the hangar, the shuttle will launch and you'll have beaten the level, you don't have to exit the level. >PS: do you get anything if you beat the Aztec level? (cheat) Yes, you can play all beaten levels with a laser. Hope it helped a little, still having problems, drop me a mail.
