I've only seen one mario 64 clone and it isn't really a clone because it actually is the original. I know zillions of platform games. I do agree that yoshi's story isn't that special. After I just played it for the first time I bought yoshi's Island second hand and it ROCKS. It's much better, it even looks better (more original with al those chalky images). I'm not waiting for 2d platformers. I think a mass storage medium like the PSX would be better at it anyway. If you don't use the N64's potential, then why not make it a snes game? We're all waiting for a mario 64 clone, that's what I've been waiting for for over a year now and the fact that there isn't one really makes me feel screwed by ninty. kleinemans ______________________________________________________ "Let me get through this next segment without cursing" --Jerry Springer _________________________________________________ [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 5 Jun 1998 14:37:59 -0400 From: "Jeremy Tocher" Subject: Re: [N64] Game Makers on the list you guys made lemmings? whoa any of you two in specific? haha i love it i think i have it installed right now somewhere that is pretty interesting - -----Original Message----- From: Brian Baird To: n64@lists.xmission.com Date: Friday, June 05, 1998 4:01 AM Subject: RE: [N64] Game Makers on the list >At 16:50 04/06/98 -0400, you wrote: >>What is DMA?? > >DMA Design, based in Dundee, Scotland. Developed by Maxis, Sim Copter 64 will be the first Square distributed game so far. Hopefully, the simulation game will mark a beginning, not an end for Square's Nintendo 64 involvement.
