I've a US N64 and that uses NTSC. Recently I bought a new T.V. with PAL/NTSC. I played my N64 with Banjo-Kazooie (US) and it work SUPERB. Then I tried my friend's game: ISS'64 (EURO) with a convertor. What I got was a black and white screen. Sure it was working, but no color. Is my convertor faulty or what's the prob? Cause my old T.V worked with both, but I had to use a RGB cable. I've tried the RGB with the new TV and that sucks. I've switched to both PAL and NTSC but nothing works. PAL gives me a black and white screen. NTSC gives me a jumping screen. Help?

Vigilante 8 is WAY easier than Twisted Metal 2, yea, I agree the graphics rule on V8, but you pay for them. Try to play the ghost town with 2 players. EEEEEEEerrn. Wrong answer. It will crash if lots of stuff is happening on screen and you use one of those magnetic mines...the frame rate drops to about 2/sec then it crashes. Also, the game cheats. When you choose, lets say 6 opponents, only 3 or four will be out there at one time. When you kill somebody, a new person suddenly appears out of nowhere. Certain levels don't have many problems, like the Hoover Dam, but others (like the Ghosttown) have such poor frame rates that is it unplayable in 2-player mode. > > Yawn. Never seen the point of TM1/2. V8 does it *much* better. They totally > bombed in the UK. TM1/2 kick ass!!!!!! V8 has fewer cars (with less character), fewer weapons, and the action is slow compared to TM2. IN V8, you pretty much just run right up to a person and unload all your weapons and leave. If you tried this in TM2, you would get frozen then killed. Also, nearly every weapon in V8 is homing. You don't even have to aim... V8 has it's good points, but TM2 is far superior (as is Critical Depth). I've seen reports of it, but it hasn't happened to me. I haven't had any framerate drops either - but I only play it single player. Sounds like it's down to level design more than anything. And what's the problem with only having 3/4 cars 'active' at any one time? It's a pretty standard way of cutting down the amount of processing the machine has to do - almost every game does it. >V8 has it's good points, but TM2 is far superior (as is Critical Depth).
