You might want to go to www.nintendo.com and check their GB color section. Yes, there will be all new games as well as upgrades of old games. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, will return to GB in an all new colour mode. As an added bonus, new dungeons and items will be added. The beauty of it is that after looking at the screens, I can tell you that its absolutely amazing. It looks like a 16-bit title! Albeit with less brilliant colours, less on screen colours and no 16-bit effects like overlapping and transparency. But still, its very neat. > Will the old games be compatible with it? Yes, GB games will run on GB color. But games for the GBC might not be. Midway's GB color version of SF Rush for example will use GB color's faster processor and expanded RAM, that means the dev team will make no attempt to have the game work with the original GBs. BTW, GB color is technically twice as powerful as the original GB with four times more RAM and Nintendo has stated that for developers to take full advantage of the console, it will have to drop support for the original game boy and squeeze every ounce of juice out of the GBC. Expect a lot of really cool games to be GB color only. > If yes, will the color be like Super GB? GB games made for the GB will look likethey are on Super GameBoy when it is pluged into the GBC. However, games designed to take advantage of GB color, games like NFL Blitz, and most other third parties, will run like a normal game on GB and will feature more than four shades of color in the GBC. then, there's a third tier. There will be games designed specifically for the GBC that will use more colors and have more effects. Those games wont run on a normal GB hardware at all. Also note GB color can display 56 colours at one time but don't expect 16-bit, genesis quality graphics on the GB C. GBC games, at least the first generation, looks very similar to fourth generation NES games (games like Mario 3) but with more colors. > And finally, will it be super expensive (system & games)?
