So, is Snake's Revenge sort of a "Metal Gear 3?" I had that game once. I rescued a few hostages, but for the life of me I couldn't get into the building. I needed a keycard that I couldn't find, or something. If someone can walk me through it, I might just buy it again. After all, the local rental place is finally selling their NES games for $5 apiece. I'm gonna go get me some bargains! :) Moblin 64 ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 Jan 1999 17:19:53 EST From: TreyTable@aol.com Subject: Re: [N64] Just a Question In a message dated 1/25/99 3:12:34 PM Eastern Standard Time, d.fentie@home.com writes: > What do you guys like better, "few long hard levels" in games or "many > short easy levels"? > Neither. I like many smart levels. Levels that require technique (moreso in later levels) rather than short easy levels (Yoshi's Story) or long hard (see: Cheap) levels like Heart of Darkness. But mostly I like games that aren't broken up into levels but where it's all connected like in Super Metroid or Castlevania : SOTN. Mind you I'm just talking about platformers. We Americans (and Canadians) got a spin off game called Snake's Revenge. Sort of like how Lifeforce (Salamander) wasn't the sequel to Gradius, but a spin off. I don't know. Maybe that's a bad example.
