When you talk about having all those dungeons, remember something. Mario 1 for NES took about two hours to beat the first time through and Mario 64 took about 30 hrs. Now it's not that the 64 bit installment simply had 15 times as many levels, but it also had slightly more detailed levels. :-) What I'm trying to say is, their not going to make the next Zelda look the same and use the extra space to make more dungeons. They'll use it for better AI, more detailed levels, better graphics, AND larger levels. - -Sean - -----Original Message----- From: Spencer <10039073@wsd1.org> To: n64@lists.xmission.com Date: Sunday, March 14, 1999 1:18 PM Subject: Re: [N64] RPGs (something you need a PlayStation to play) >I replyed to this simply for the title. It's like the N64 and Neo*Geo. It's by far not the best but there are some certain titles that really make them stand out and make them woirth while, if even for only a month. Games like GoldenEye, Zelda 64, Samurai Showdown, King of Fighters 96, Mutation Nation, Last Resort, Doom, Starcraft. The high-end PC, the N64, and the Neo*Geo are all great systems, but not as great as some other systems like the Super NES & PlayStation. What would be cool is if Nintendo made their new system in the shape of a portable CD player. Then you can take it with you on trips, listen to CD's (if that option was available), get to a hotel room and just hook it up to the TV. Maybe even have an option for an LCD screen so you can play it anywhere, or watch DVD movies. The only problems might be it can break easily, unless they made it tough, and it might be somewhat non cost-effective. But I'd be willing to pay the price if it had this kind of versatility. _______________________________________________________ Get your free, private email at http://mail.excite.com/ [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Mar 1999 10:13:13 EST From: TreyTable@aol.com Subject: Re: [N64] Nintendo CD-X?
