I'd like to start by wishing everyone a Happy New Year! (I believe this is my first post to the list since 98). Any way.. that time in my Printing class has come! I'm making the orbital shirts! I looked through a lot of the mail I recieved on the subject when I first announced it and found the design I liked best. The idea was suggested my Leq "Daniel Kasaj". Who said: >What about these, for ze shirts: [even if I would NOT prefer to have a text->only Orbital shirt] > >1)------------------- >front: >It's...it's....it's a cry for survival. >A cry for... > >back: >SURVIVAL! >(what did ya think I'd say?) > >2)------------------- >front: >Times fly > >back: >(fast) > >3)------------------- >front: >...new age travellers. > >back: >oval logo. > >4)------------------- >hehe, this one might >confuse people >(no indication of Orbital) > >front: WARNING Bicycles left padlocked to the railings will be removed. >Naah, it's a silly one :) > I really liked #3!!! So.. the shirts will be: Burgundy in color. Black Ink. Front: words "new age travelers..." Back: Orbital Oval Logo The shirts will be Fruit of the loom T-shirts. I'm not positive if they are pre-shrunk or not (sorry forgot to look closely at the catalog.) You can get sizes from small to 2x. Shirt cost will be $9 (U.S. dollars) (that includes shipping..unless you're in the UK and I haven't looked into over seas shipping costs yet..but we'll cross the bridge when we get there..) If you would like a shirt I need you to privately mail me with the size and your name and pertenant shipping info... Then the shirts should be ready to mail ASAP. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!11 If you plan on ordering a shirt I NEED to know by Monday morning (so when I come in here and turn on my computer before I go to school to get my mail) So I can order the shirts and have them in the shop by Tuesday after noon.. then I can print them Wednesday & Thursday...then they should be ready to mail by Friday or Saturday. It has a live version. The orignal version is on the Radiccio EP (UK) and the Halcyon EP (US). The US version is all but impossible to find, but you can still get the UK version if you look around. Anyway, I didn't make it out to that or the other one. I was going to go to this outdoor concert with treble charger, Holly McNarland and The Gandharvas (all canadian groups).. treble charger kick ass... anyway, I took too long getting ready, so we didn't go. Know what I ended up doing? My dad and my sister and I went downtown to this park.. we did the whole ice skating, hot chocolate drinking and roasting marshmallows around a bonfire thing. How stereotypically canadian. And it was C-O-L-D... -14 Celcius plus windchill... eww. Then I went home at like 11:00.. my grandparents were over. So we watched TV. Eww. Did anybody have a new years that was worse than mine?? Oh yeah.... A question for all the techie people. Got a new, unformatted hard drive last week. For some strange reason it won't work with the old hard drive, when it's the master and the old one's the slave. Yet it will work with a different drive we have. The new drive is EIDE and the old one is just IDE. Is this some kind of compatibility problem? We really can't figure it out. If only we knew if the hard drive it does work with was EIDE or not.
