I'd get a CD-R of the set and then pick up the ones > you really want. Well I think the import ones cost $8 or $9. I think Ear/rational is selling them straight from Warp for $8.25 The autechre and BoC ones are both 3 tracks, and one of the tracks on the BoC one is already on the domestic "Music has the right.." release on Matador. So yeah they don't have too much on them. I will say that the Autechre one is very good - remember this was first broadcast in '95 so this sounds more like Tri Repetae - Amber type autechre rather than the LP5 autechre ... if that makes a difference to anyone. Its also 3 tracks for I think 20-25 minutes total. Anyways there are RA clips of everything on warprecords.com anyway. As for the new black dog / plaid stuff, there are new singles out (2 cds and one 12") either now or very soon of the new Black Dog stuff. The tracks called bablyon and there are 9 mixes split across the singles and the word is that they are VERY good. I'm not sure when the new album will be out (same for Plaid) but I think it should be soon... I'm still waiting for Wormhole to come out on CD , BTW - becoming very doubtful that it will ever happen. I'm prolly going to get myself a turntable soon so I'll just have to get it on LP :) Excerpts from lists: 29-Jan-99 RE: (orbital) New warp shtuff by Patrick McGinn@MailAndNe >As for the single... I would be willing to trade if I have anything you'd want, or I'll pay for the copy. I looked at the discography, and found many number of things like their Peel Sessions, a lot of singles, and I've never heard any of their first albums, or seen any of their music videos.
