George Bush's 1976 DUI arrest record, has come forward with his firsthand account of a wild night in 1971 that featured sex, booze, guns, drugs and presidential candidate Al Gore. In an e-mail to Nashville talk radio host Phil Valentine Thursday night, Pastor Ray Hudson cited an episode where Gore, while a reporter for the city's Tennessean newspaper, was assigned to do a story on the Death Angels, a notorious local motorcyle gang. Pastor Hudson, who now ministers to the homeless, was a Death Angels member in good standing at the time - and tipped Valentine that Gore's research for the story included spending a night with the gang. During the hours between dusk and dawn, the vice president got drunk, smoked pot, shot a club member's gun and had sex with one of the club's girls, the biker-turned-minister contended. Hudson said that what he saw flies in the face of Gore's family man image (Gore had married Tipper 18 months earlier), making his campaign's attempt to smear Bush over a DUI ticket even more outrageuous. On Friday, Pastor Hudson went public with his story on Valentine's WLAC talk radio show. VALENTINE: Now, tell me what happened when he came to do the interview with you guys. HUDSON: Well, he hung around a couple of days and we wanted some good press so we treated him well. He spent one night with us, or a big part of the night, partying with us. And during that party he smoked dope with us, he drank a lot. We had a door there that had some weird trim up over the door and we took a couple of pot shots at it and... VALENTINE: With a gun. HUDSON: With a pistol. VALENTINE: Al Gore was shooting a gun inside of a home? HUDSON: Yes. It was an illegal firearm, even back then. VALENTINE: OK. HUDSON: And he missed. He's not a straight shooter. (VALENTINE CHUCKLES) HUDSON: The reason that I had, you know, contacted you to begin with was that, you know, he portrayed himself, as I seen it on the national convention, back about that time they showed pictures of him and his family, he's been this great family guy, great husband and all of that. That night, other than the things I already mentioned, he was given one of the club girls there and took her into another room. VALENTINE: Now, this was in November of 1971. It needs to be noted that Al Gore and Tipper Gore got married May 19th of 1970. HUDSON: Yeah. VALENTINE: So, he'd been married about a year and a half. HUDSON: Yeah. VALENTINE: He gets one of the biker girls and goes to the back room and has his way with her. HUDSON: Yeah. VALENTINE: So, this is the Al Gore that is now, his campaign is throwing this mud at George W. Bush for getting a DUI in 1976? This guy's smokin' dope with a motorcycle gang and going back in the back with a biker chick in one of the back rooms? HUDSON: Yes, well, you know, everybody deserves a blast from the past sometimes and this is his. I didn't want to, 'til this DUI came out I had thought about it but I said 'naw, I'm just not gonna say anything.' Then when this came out about a DUI and making such a big deal out of it on the news, I said 'well, I'm gonna, you know, let somebody know about it, anyway.' VALENTINE: By the way, I read the piece he wrote on the Death Angels. It is a puff piece. HUDSON: Oh, yeah. It was great. We loved it. We bought a good article there. VALENTINE: No kidding! All you had to do was supply him with a girl and some dope and let him shoot your gun a couple of times and the guy writes a puff piece for you in the Tennessean. HUDSON: You know, I'm sure we all have some things we have we wish we hadn't done. I don't know how he is now. I don't know him now other than what I see on TV and some of the stories he tells. But I do know this is one incident I know about firsthand. VALENTINE: And this goes hand-in-hand with what John Warnecke, who was a friend at the Tennessean, a fellow reporter, has told us on several occasions that has not been reported by the national press. HUDSON: Well, you know, I think that it's a shame that people try to make a big deal out of something that isn't but then ignore some more serious things in the news and it just seems, well, one-sided to me. I think both sides need to be heard. VALENTINE: Well, I would say that smoking dope, shooting an illegal firearm in a house and bedding down with a biker chick when you're married trumps a DUI any day. Valentine told NewsMax.com Saturday that Gore's Tennessean report on the Death Angels includes quotes from two of the motorcycle gang's women. "As evening passed into morning, Cortez was saying...," Gore wrote, revealing that he'd spent at least several of the overnight hours in her company. A recent revelation by Gore himself suggests that he indeed did have a taste for the motorcycle gang lifestyle. Just last week he told talk show host Queen Latifah that in his younger days he enjoyed playing drinking games, riding his own motorcycle and outrunning police. Since Hudson's revelation on Friday, the mainstream press has ignored the story and the Gore campaign has had no comment. But on the campaign trail, Gore allies continue to pound away on the Bush DUI story. Gore backer former Nebraska Sen. Bob Kerrey engaged in some particularly ugly rhetoric Saturday, telling party faithful at a campaign stop: "[Bush] didn't want to tell us the truth. He said, 'I didn't want to tell you the truth because I was concerned about my daughters.' Governor, you remind me of that old song of Willie Nelson's - 'Who you gonna believe, you gonna believe me or your lyin' eyes?' Governor, we're gonna believe our eyes." "You're covering your rear end. You're protecting yourself," Kerrey shouted to the crowd. Advt: Race is tight. You can help Bush in last ditch effort to get out vote. CLICK HERE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. The news could be good for pro-life advocates who have decried the killing of unborn children to obtain stem cells for research. Researchers have previously claimed stem cells from unborn children provided better results in the research. The study by researchers at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey shows for the first time that, with the proper experimental growth factors, stem cells isolated from adult bone marrow can convert into neurons quickly and can be grown in almost unlimited supply. Moreover, animal experiments show that these cells can be successfully transplanted into the spinal cord and brain, where the cells appear to survive and connect to other neurons, the researchers said. The discovery raises the prospect that people in need of treatment one day might be able to donate their own cells to repair crucial nerve tissue damaged by stroke, disease or injury, eliminating any need for powerful drugs to suppress the recipient's immune system "We were somewhat overwhelmed," said lead researcher Dr. Ira Black, who is head of Robert Wood Johnson's neuroscience department. Bone marrow "appears to be a robust source of cells. There may be a variety of [other] easily accessible sources of cells that can generate neurons." In a similar laboratory advance reported Sunday, researchers led by Fred H. Gage at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla grew neural cells from human tissue donated after death from people up to 72 years old. Two other independent laboratory experiments indicate that neural cells can even be grown from skin and scalp tissue from living donors. "The research shows that the [cadaver] tissue could be a new, noncontroversial source of human neural cells for transplantation and experimentation," said Gage. Federally funded embryo research was effectively banned until last August. Then the Clinton administration ruled that publicly funded experiments could be conducted on the about 150,000 human embryos left behind at fertility clinics, provided that federal money is not used to actually destroy the unborn children. The age at which the stem cells were harvested, however, did appear to make a crucial difference. Adult stem cells are biologically less potent than embryo cells. Cells cultivated from older donors did not last as long in the laboratory as those taken from younger donors, nor did they divide and multiply as efficiently. "Clearly the cells that are younger divide more easily," Gage said. "There is no substitute for youth, at least so far." The findings were presented Sunday at the Society for Neuroscience in New Orleans, which represents 28,000 scientists who study the biology of the brain. I first reported in this column Monday that a young Guatemalan woman legally residing in Los Angeles County who received the "Clinton card" last week turned it over to me. Since she never registered to vote, I wondered out loud how Clinton's California Democrats happened to target her. It struck me -- and those the young woman lives with -- that perhaps the Immigration and Naturalization Service database had been misused for political purposes the way so many other government files have been abused during the Clinton years. The evidence is mounting that this may, indeed, be evidence of one of the largest and highest-level political dirty tricks ever conducted in these United States. The California Democratic Party, which paid for the mailer, continues to claim that information about recipients was taken from voter files. However, WorldNetDaily staff writer Julie Foster confirmed that the woman is not registered to vote and therefore does not have a voter file, raising serious questions as to the party's information source. According to CNN reporter Mark Marino, Democratic Party officials denied even the existence of the mailer, which is reproduced here for the world to see. Though the young woman in question does have a driver's license, Department of Motor Vehicles records are sealed for privacy purposes, meaning the Democrats could not have obtained their information from that agency. Nor could the party legally have obtained pertinent information, such as her address and birth date, from the 20-year-old's confidential student record at the community college she attends in the Los Angeles area. INS records are also sealed -- supposedly. Tim Morgan, California's Republican National Committeeman and an election law attorney, was hard-pressed to think of a legal source the CDP could have used to obtain the Guatemalan woman's address and birth date. "This is the stuff congressional investigations are made of," he said. "It's not clear to me at all how this could have happened. From the Dornan case, we know really how protected this information is. One is left to speculate." Well, allow me to do some speculating. The Clinton administration has, for the better part of eight years, used government databases to target enemies with Internal Revenue Service audits, FBI investigations, threats, intimidation and blackmail. Is it such a stretch to believe members of that same ultra-politicized administration would have pulled a few strings to get INS records to the California Democrats. With a track record like that, I'd be shocked if they didn't. But the bigger issue raised by this scam is the issue of electoral integrity. And the reality is there is no such thing in America, any more. Think about these motor-voter laws that render poll watchers impotent. They are not legally permitted to demand identification as long as voters' names appear on the rolls. As WorldNetDaily has reported, even obviously fraudulent names cannot be challenged. Even when a prospective California voter shows up, and there is no matching name on the voting rolls, poll workers must permit the vote to take place. It can only be challenged after the fact -- after the votes are counted. Folks, there are a lot of people patting themselves on the back today because of the election results. Not me. No matter what the results were on Election Day, I would still be madder than heck today because the sanctity of the American vote has been compromised. Sometimes process is as important or more important than results. And the voting process in America has become corrupt. Most Americans may not give all this another thought for two more years or four more years. That would be unfortunate. Because if this kind of corruption goes unpunished, you can rest assured it will be worse the next time. Are you going to be one of those people who sits back and forgets about what happened here now that the election is over? Personally, I think Tim Morgan is right. This is the stuff of which congressional investigations are made. I know. I know. Congress has done nothing with mounting scandals for eight years. But maybe -- just maybe -- some members got a wakeup call this time. It's worth a try. Got any better ideas? Your new officials in Washington will be waiting to hear from you. Here are some things for you to ponder about this ballot: * At least 96% of the people were not confused by the ballot * The ballot was designed by a Democratic Party official * The people of Palm Beach County had an opportunity to view the ballot and comment on it before the election. No objections were entered. * The Florida Democratic Party approved the ballot before the vote. Come on, folks. Look at the damned thing. There's an arrow ... and that arrow is CLEARLY pointing to a hole. There is no ambiguity as to which hold it's pointing to. If you went up to any second grader in this country -- even those in government schools -- and told that second grader to "put the little pin in the hole next to arrow number 5" there would be no problem. The rude truth to the matter is that you have to be an absolute idiot not to be able to cast your vote properly with this ballot. Now we have hree Palm Beach voters have filed lawsuits. They are saying that they were confused and cast their vote for the wrong person. OK ... fine. Here's your problem. There is NO WAY that any of these plaintiffs can prove that they miss-cast their votes. There is absolutely no way to match any ballot to any voter. In other words -- there is no way that any of these voters can prove their claim. Would someone please tell me how the courts can resolve any claim for a person who cannot prove that they have been wronged? Hey -- you know what? I think I won the Big 5 jackpot last weekend. I was confused by the ballot form you fill out to select your lottery numbers. I just know that I entered all five of the numbers and the jackpot number as well. I want a chance to fill out my little lottery card again so I can correct these numbers. My entire future is at stake here. I should have several million dollars in my bank account right now! I need that money to pay for health care and my retirement. This is too serious a situation to be ignored, and I'm thinking of hiring a lawyer! There's more. The Democrats are screaming that there is no way Buchanan could have received this many votes in Palm Beach County. They cite the fact that Broward County, immediately to the South, only saw around 100 votes for Buchanan vs. the 3,407 votes in Palm Beach. Well ----here's what you probably haven't heard in the media. According to the Florida supervisor of elections, Broward County has only 189 members of the Independent Party - Florida's Reform party. However, in Palm Beach County there are well over 14,000 members of the Independent Party. As a matter of fact, Palm Beach County has the highest Independent registration in Florida. Oops! Well that certainly puts things in a different light, doesn't it? WILL ANY ELECTORS CHANGE THEIR VOTES? As CNN's Jeff Greenfield said . the potential here for mischief is incredible. A lot of pundits are exploring the possibility that one of the Electors might decide to cast his vote for the "other guy" when they meet to cast their Electoral votes on December 18th. Greenfield suggested that some Elector might get the word to one candidate or another suggesting that his vote might be changed in exchange for a good government appointment, a highway, etc. Get this --- I've even seen some of the Democratic Electors in Florida openly challenging Republican Electors to "do the right thing" and to cast their votes for Gore if there is any question of voting irregularities. LET'S ASK THOSE WHO KNOW IT ALL How about the students? What are we thinking? We need to ask college and university students what to do! Let's take advantage of these people at the very time in their lives that they know everything! This morning I saw a picture of one of these wonderfully informed and all-knowing students carrying a sign that said "Bush Concede - Abolish the Electoral College." Let's take advantage of this immense well of solid knowledge before the reality of life sets in on these fine young minds. ONE DEMOCRATIC PLOY OUT IN THE OPEN "Honorable." That's the word. "Honorable." If Bush wins the recount in Florida, and thus the presidency, the spin will be that it just wouldn't be honorable for Bush to claim the presidency in light of Gore's lead in the popular vote. I first heard the word used in a press conference yesterday. Florida Governor Jeb Bush was answering questions about the recount process. He was asked if it would be "honorable" for his brother to serve as president even though he lost the popular vote. Well, golly! Let's think about this for a while. Obviously the Democrats feel that Clinton has served his country "honorably" during the past eight years . thus we can assume that it would be "honorable" for a president to continue in office: Perjury Obstruction of justice Affair with intern Lying to the American people Violating his oath of office But the inference is that it would be "dishonorable" for a president to serve in office pursuant to the strict dictates of our Constitution as it regards the Electoral College. Yeah --- makes perfect sense to me. A CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS --- NOT! Reporters asked this question of Warren Christopher yesterday afternoon. They wanted to know if this was a Constitutional crisis. Why? Why ask the question at all? The Constitution is working exactly as it was supposed to work. There are no questions as to what to do next. There are no uncertainties as to how this process is to go forward. You determine the vote in Florida, and the Florida electors cast their Electoral votes. It's just that simple. A president-elect is chosen. Just where in the hell is the Constitutional crisis? Consider this. Is it possible that some biased reporters are actually trying to create that crisis through their questions? "FOUND" BALLOT BOXES Would someone please tell me just why most of those mysterious "found" ballot boxes in Florida are being found in precincts that vote heavily Democratic? Just wondering. CREATE A SENSE OF PANIC AND HYSTERIA Obviously, that's the Democratic game plan when it comes to Palm Beach County. Create a sense of panic in the minds of the Palm Beach voters .. Convince them that they have been cheated --- that they voted for the wrong people. Did you hear that Democratic attack dog Robert Wexler? He was talking about hundreds of voters crying and wailing in parking lots at polling places after they learned that they had mis-cast their votes. Don't you think that some newsman with a camera could have discovered these weeping and wailing voters on Tuesday, and treated us to a picture? Wexler and that publicity whore and race warlord Jesse Jackson know their assignment well. Create such an aura of voter hysteria that national public opinion will demand a solution - and no solution will do short of a new vote in Palm Beach County. ONCE AGAIN - MEN FOR LIBERTY, WOMEN FOR SECURITY The gender gap in Tuesday's election was 22 percent. Women preferred Gore by an 11 margin and men preferred Bush by an 11 percent margin. The reasoning is clear. The offer of government-provided security is eagerly accepted by women. Liberty means much more to men. The founding fathers had this one right. THIS LISTENER IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT . AND WE ALL KNOW IT This e-mail form a listener --- it's about the voters of Missouri electing a dead guy to serve in the U.S. Senate. CAN YOU IMAGINE if John Ashcroft of Missouri had been a black Democrat, running against a dead Republican, and lost . . . . .HOW FAST would Jesse Jackson be there crying FOUL? It speaks volumes about the character of Ashcroft that he announced that he will not appeal the process, or stand around stating that it doesn't "pass the smell test." HOW RACE FIGURED INTO TUESDAY'S ELECTION The masses spoke on Tuesday. And they spoke in oh-so-predictable ways. Al Gore's appeal to minorities was incredible. About 90 percent of blacks chose Gore over Bush. In Florida, whites favored Bush, 57 percent to 40 percent; but blacks favored Gore, 93 percent to 7 percent. That's part of the reason for the recount. Black votes swung states like Pennsylvania and Michigan towards Gore, too, with numbers similar to Florida. Bottom line: Bush's appeals to the minority voting bloc went nowhere. Absolutely nowhere. Blacks, Hispanics, and others fell into lock-step behind Al Gore, who promised them more goodies and worked hard to validate their coveted victim status in our society. Gore promised them more preferences and more social programs. More free money from the government. He promised to protect them from those mean, nasty white racist Republicans and their corporate bosses. He promised they wouldn't have to worry about taking care of themselves, because the federal government would do it for them. And they fell for it. Nine out of every ten black votes was for Gore. How do you defeat a party that has so masterfully enslaved an entire segment of the population? How do you convince those voters that they're voting to secure their own comfort at the expense of the entire nation? http://www.washtimes.com/national/default-200011922370.htm SO NOW GORE WANTS THE RULE OF LAW Yes, now Al Gore is calling for the rule of law to prevail as votes are recounted in Florida. Yesterday afternoon we heard Gore urge "respect for the rule of law...We now need to resolve this election in a way that is fair and forthright, and in a way that is fully consistent with the Constitution and our laws." Funny how Gore wants to respect the rule of law only when the law has an immediate impact on his future. He and Bill Clinton have been all too happy to flout the rule of law elsewhere--like covering up the Chinese government's financing of the 1996 election, for example. Yet more evidence why Gore should not be president. He calls on the Constitution to prevail only when it's convenient to him. http://www.newsmax.com/showinsidecover.shtml?a=2000/11/8/181550 http://www.newsmax.com/showinsidecover.shtml?a=2000/11/8/153824 CHECK OUT "ALL EYES ON FLORIDA" ON NEWSMAX.COM Here's a good place for you to keep up with some of the latest in the Florida vote situaiton. http://www.newsmax.com/ Nealz Nuze - Copyright 2000 by Neal Boortz.
