Anyway, the funeral home we worked with seemed so caring, and told us they would take care of everything and just charge us for cost. The price we were quoted was $150, including the little tiny casket. Well, about a couple of weeks or so after his death, we got a bill for $450! The last thing someone wants to deal with, or worry about is money, but sheesh we are talking $300 more than what we were quoted! Mark called, but they would only knock $100 off, so we paid $200 more than they told us. THey lied. I think that is really cruddy to take advantage of people at such a time when they are weakest. rubberjunkie *He gave so much to be so little . . . angels always do.* Remembering Jacob, March 8 - 9, 1996 Our angel: http://sids-network.org/jacob.htm On Wed, 29 Oct 1997 10:01:46 -0700 mavinci@juno.com writes: >Yup, happened to us too when my son died of SIDS, except to the tune >of some $525.00.
