Well, this little ole newbie is overwhelmed. My SS really out did herself in putting together my first ever SS package. Its quite obvious that she is not a newbie. Although there were goodies enough for two or three, I was most impressed with the absolutely stunning and classy stamped tissue which wrapped each of the other items sent. I opened it very carefully so I can use the tissue again. The pink tissue with copper spirling circles stamped on it was extremely distinctive. There were also tissues (white with gold embossed cupids and white with peacock feathers with black w/multi colored sparkles). I had wondered what all the discussion regarding stamping on tissue was all about (and had really pretty much ignored it) and now I know. Very impressive way to wrap packages. Then there was paper, paper, paper. I started to very carefully log in the type of paper but quickly realized that if I did that I=92d never get to responding with a great BIG thank you to my SS. There were background papers, mulberry papers, postcards, card stock, sparkle sticker paper, furry sticker paper, in quantities I can=92t even begin to= =20 assess. It was definitely a huge amount of paper. Then to perk things up 2 sheets of stickers (Valentines & St Pats), lace hearts in 4 colors, red rick rack (now that takes me back years), gold cording, wonder tape, confetti (hears, shamrocks, leprechauns), sticker hearts & shamrocks. Glitter glue, gold seals, etc, etc. Embossing powders in red tinsel, pastel pink, falmingo pink. A pair of fisker edging scissors (which I dont=92 have) and a scoring tool. In other words, there is enough here to keep me busy for a long time. Thank you, Thank you, SS. You done good!!! Better get back to stamping...this weekend is flying by. Tonya's card was a simple, elegant, purple embossed pansy (I love the botanicals from PSX). What kind of embossing powder is that, Tonya? Ingrid sent the cutest little bunny with a bee flying across the top of the card trailing the words "Thinking of you". Susan Sproc's card had three 3-D butterflies embossed with gold, mounted on burgundy and blue mulberry paper, mounted on a splatter painted card in the same colors. I want to know how to get such a perfect match when splattering! Linda Morse sent a card that made me homesick for Ohio - maple leaves stamped with the most beautiful colors and embossed with holographic powder. Last, but definitely my favorite, an angel holding a bird's wings as she flies over the treetops on a starry night, made by GeeVee. A mystical, soothing composition!
