Unmounted Hi, Cynthia... good question! On the addy's I did in November, I used Times New Roman (10) for the first line name/nick... and Times New Roman (9) for the email addy on the second line. Times New Roman is easily read, and the size insures that your email addy is small enough to be used anywhere, but large enough to be readable. The average stamp was around 1.5" long. If you have a font you prefer, let me know, and I can use that. Also, if you want it in your own handwriting, I can do that too. If the stamp you want gets much larger, I may have to charge a little more, but, hey, Cynthia, I'm easy! :}> Ellen :}> Evo At 03:36 PM 2/3/97 PST, you wrote: >What font do you use on these address stamps? > art attack >On Mon, 03 Feb 1997 16:06:30 -0500 "Ellen Gordon (Evo)" >writes: >>Ok, I did a lot of these back in November and had a few stampers ask >>for >>one if I made the offer again. >> >>Sooooo.... >> >>Your name and/or nickname on the top line, email addy on the bottom >>line, >>nice and small to stamp on the back of your cards or correspondence. >> >>Unmounted only...$4 total, includes shipping and our catalog of >>unmounted >>rubber dies, if you don't have one and want one. >> >>I'll need your request by Monday, Feb 10th at the latest ... this >>plate >>will go to the engraver not later than Tuesday, the 11th. Being a newbie, I might not describe these properly. Geevee- This card was described before and yes, it is beautiful. An angel with butterfly wings is being guided in the night sky by a dove. Tiny gold stars sparkle in the blue penciled sky over green and gold embossed trees. It was then deckled and layered on navy, then white. Tonya- Tonya stamped and embossed in gold a spray of fuchsia. She then used markers of bright pink and purple to color the buds and blossoms. Oh gee, Tonya, why did you have to show me another gotta have stamp! Ingrid- Ingrid used pale yellow to make a "Thinking of You" card. A bunny holding a heart was embossed, colored with pencil, and then cut and placed on the front. This is definately a springtime card and would help to lighten the spirits of those of you with terrible weather. Linda Morse- Linda used nutmeg colored paper as the background for maple leaf #SP006 f. The single image was multi-stamped with Serenade Red shades ink and then embossed with holographic powder. This is a "okay, how did you do it?" card. Linda please let me know how the colors range from the palest of yellows and greens to the warmest oranges and rusts. Misty Sharman- Misty embossed a single magnolia blossom on khaki paper. I believe she used markers to color and beautifully shade the blossom and leaves. This was cut into a 2x2 square, with corners rounded and punched. This image was layered off center on to a dark green paper on to which the magnolia image was multi stamped and embossed in dark green. This corner rounded paper was layered on to a khaki card. As a final touch, misti handtied a raffia bow. WOW!!! Fellow newbies, join the swaps. I certainly feel my cards were nothing like the above cards, but I am learning! And there is nothing like having a card in front of you to view and an artist on the list to question about techniques. So many have expressed concern and offered comfort and prayers. And many of you are going to be sending Katie cards. She is going to be so thrilled. I'm pleased to report that she is doing better. She's still feeling awful and weak and dizzy, probably in part due to the lumbar puncture last night. The best news is that the doctor says we can rule out meningitis. He doesn't know exactly what is wrong, but suspects it's viral. As these things usually happen, her temperature soared AFTER we got home from the doctor today. It was 103.5 after all the Tylenol allowed. Since she has never been one to run high fevers, I was pretty worried, especially after the hospital experience. I got right on the phone and the doctor said not to worry. Yeah, sure! She looked so pale when she had looked so rosy. I've never seen her so weak. Well, I won't go on. I know many of you have been through much worse. I'm just so relieved that the temperature seems to finally be going down now. Thanks for listening and for your concern, and many many thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
