What is a Caya? A TTPO??? I think that's what I mean, since I'm having a hard time reading my hand writing and I got delete happy earlier. What exactly do you do for a swap? You make the cards for the theme, send them to the host/ess and is there any other little detail that should goin there? What are the best ways to mount um's??? Which way is better for sponging, getting the sponge inked with markers (and which brands are good?) or using a stamp pad? I've heard of doing both.... Someone please give me a VERRRRRRRRY good description of dry embossing (how to, supplies, finishing touches, etc.) Some people have started to explain this to me, but haven't quite hit all of my questions. The front cover is what most people decorate. Be sure and write or stamp your name on the back cover. If you want to decorate the pages inside the book, an idea you might want to do is stamp the lower right hand corner of the pages with a small image. That will allow the recipient plenty of room for adding what they want to the pages. Sarah, thank you for the magnet!! A new one to go on my fridge and I needed more, as my fridge is the typical hang-up-all-the-artwork kind! I loved all the cards, my daughter liked the one made by Dana Wood. She used stencils and sponging with stamps to make a whimsical card. She made an apple tree(stencil and sponge) with apples on it, grass, flowers, and apples on the ground. There is a sunshine and a pile of apples with a sign in them that says "A apple a day" with a black bird sitting on it! Cute!!! Andi Koehler made a beautiful card! A big apple stamp embossed in gold and colored in. She layered this on top of a dark green fancy postcard from Stampendous (?) and put that on the card. She even included a matching envy. Thank you. Lanel Welch made a country card that says "friends are the sunshine of Life" It has a barrel of apples and daisies surrounding, like they are on the ground. Then colored in with color pencil. She made a jute bow and glued it in the corner. Last, but not least is Sarah's card. She used the DOTS apple tree. She water colored the tree, in greens, brown for the trunk and apples. She cut it out and glued in on a card that is brown Kraft with patches for the background. Also, put red stitches around her card. Cute!!!!! THanks to all of you. I just love getting swap cards. What fun!! I just wish that mail lady would spread them out a bit!!! I got about 8 things in the mail to write about!!!!
