These are beautiful cards! They all put mine to shame, believe me.... Carole Mork ~ Nice color combo! Carole stamped and embossed, on pink cs, a birthday cake with Happy Birthday across the top. Then she put touches of glitter on that and layered it on a green postcard. It really POPS! =) Michele McNamara ~ She stamped, embossed and colored the button bear from SU (I need this set!) and then put him on yellow cs. Then she stamped and colored balloons. And he is holding the balloons by a button and some mylar strings! Too cute! Michelle Oakley ~ A simple, elegant card. She stamped a rose bush corner stamp and colored it in. And then she stamped a big Happy Birthday beside that. Pretty! Diana Craig ~ Another pretty card! On a marbly cs, Diana stamped an outline of a heart and embossed it in gold. Then, inside the heart, she placed some flowers. She took a green watercolor (?) and colored around the outline of the heart to make it stand out. Then that whole piece is cut with deckle scissors and layered onto pale green cs. Inside it says "Wishing you the very best of birthdays". Germaine (ggideas@aol.com) ~ She did a cute card and envelope! The front of the card is a dry embossed frame, then stamped, embossed in gold, and glittered is a big "May your special day *sparkle* with happiness". This is a nice stamp for many different occasions! Germaine's logo stamp (on the back) is cute, too. It is a bear sitting on top of a bunch of books and she is looking up at a butterfly on her head. Then, on the books, is all Germaine's business info. Cute! And Germaine did a nice splatter painted envy to go with it! Thanks, ladies! These are all wonderful cards! I am honored to have them in my (growing) collection. Shel a.k.a. Marlene and I both agree that it is the best tasting and smoothest peanut butter fudge we have ever had. The first time was XMAS and we went with a good friend who is a Titanic fan. I learned ALL sorts of things about Titanic from him before the movie. Well after the first showing I was, well I can't say it any other way...addicted to Titanic. Not just the movie, although that was the catalyst, but the EVENT. So I went to the library and jumped over to Amazon and surfed and found out tons of stuff about the ship and her maiden voyage. It was amazing. I just read that one of the millionaires, I think it was Astor, went down to one of the cargo holds and unlocked his dog who survivors in the lifeboats could see on deck. My be another Titanic myth, but it certainly gives the tragedy another "human" (or canine) face. Enjoy and there is a newsgroup for Titanic fans if you are interested.
