Boy, is this fun stuff! My MIL had some white shelf liner that didn't look like much from the outside, but when you turned it over, it had all these neat ridges/patterns in it. First I took a light blue ink pad and dabbed that on it, then took an orchid pink one and did the same. Then I used my 'northern lights' ep and sprinked it on and heated it up - WOW! It looks like elegant ribbon! I also found some of the light blue shelf liner on sale at the hardware store, and put some darker blue and magenta inks on it, used clear ep -this was so pretty, too! Then, when I got the mail, Jhone Messinger had sent me a RAK, with some samples of other kinds of shelf liner! (Thanks, Jhone!) Perfect timing! So today I am going to play with those - she sent some tan (which I think will work great with copper and gold eps), burgandy, and some really different textured off-white samples. Now...who was doing the swap using shelf liner? I might just have to join this one!
