Subject: RS:kinda COMM:soliciting Norwegian phrases

I'm in the process of working up a small sheet of Norwegian phrases. If you have
interest in a small sheet of um Norwegian phrases (probably around 4 x 7" for
$7), let me know and I'll keep you posted on the progress of this project. I
don't speak Norwegian and am working with a co-worker with stamping relatives in
Norway....so I have no idea usually what the phrases say (A VERY DANGEROUS THING
<G>). If you have any suggestions for phrases to include....let me know. I
already have Merry Christmas & Happy New Year (one of my biggest sellers around
the Holidays....surprise!!)....and the sheet will probably include the
obligatory Thank You, Congratulations, Happy Birthday etc.

Did anyone doubt that the Machine Queen has also tried the magnets too, LOL.
Only we have the kind that go on top of your mattress, like an egg crate,
with little magnets on each egg thingie.  I have not gone without it for
years. Gary and I both have bad backs--and since getting the magnet bed we
seem to "bounce back" more rapidly than before.  Before we got it, when Gary
would hurt his back, it would take months to heal.....he hurt it badly a
week ago and could hardly move, but is back to work today.  Was it the
magnets?  Guess there's no way to know for sure, but I think I'm a believer.

On a side note, the dumb thing kept sliding off the mattress and so I fixed
it  last week  with hook and loop--took a full sheet (4 x 9) of each and put
on all four corners and it's stayed put all week.

Hello dear SS!  I just picked up your wonderful package today!  I think
it came Friday, but I had to work Saturday, and Sunday and Monday my P.O.
Box place was closed (thus I couldn't get my package!) and yesterday I
didn't have time to get by!

Wow! What a great package!  So many wonderful little treasures!  Two
stamps from Stampa Barbara (I don't have ANY from them!) -- one of a
"love" bug (a beetle that is a heart with heart-shaped dots on it), and
heart-person with flowers.  So sweet -- I do like them a lot!
Some tiny gold beads... two small containers of Pearl Ex (aztec gold and
red russet!)... some red satin ribbon... some 3-D Crystal Lacquer... some
love confetti... and lots of Dove Chocolate hearts! And it was so sweet
of you to think of the boys!  Tommy opened his package right away (he was
with me when I picked up the package) and loves the dinosaur stamps. 
Nathan has not opened his (he's napping) but I bet he will be thrilled
also.  The Fruit gushers are a nice too... Tommy has a Sugar intolerance
(we say he's "allergic" although that isn't quite what it is... he just
can't handle any sugar... it makes him in a "zombie" like state), so I
will let Nathan have them when Tom isn't around.  

What a great SS!! Thanks for thinking of me at this fun holiday.  I will
be making some belated valentines for people!  Take care and thanks
again!

Yes, Valerie, I have had the same experience with the 3 day priority
mail.  AND, MUCH TO MY DISMAY, the post office was no help.  I was a
wild woman....my Priority mail took 7 days to get from Portland, Maine
to Philadelphia.

Dear Friends---I have a wonderful daughter --who up until the end of last
year and this year has always done well or at least ok in school--now she
is flunking everything!!! We have not made any head way with any of it
all year --I just don't know what to do --I feel like pulling  my hair
out !!!!We have talked to her advisor and counselor --who never follows
through on anything for us!! I work there and they still don't follow
through!  We talked to a Dr. and the school filled out forms --they want
to try Ritalin for ADD --but this was never a problem before why now --I
am very non drug!!! I don't feel good about it!! any suggestions --I just
want to scream or cry!!!  this is not good and I am so stressed that my
blood pressure is not good and my diabetes is out of wack!!!  sorry for
all the whinnying ==but I need a new prospective!!  Thanks!!!

I have had a wonderful few days with all the wonderful cards and RAK's I
have received.  I wanted to thank you all very much for making my
otherwise awful weekend wonderful.

Great Aunt Ruth sent a very pretty card on red cardstock with bows in
two of the corners.  The front is stamped with birds sitting inside of a
heart.  The corners on the right side of the card are cut out and
embossed in gold.  Very nice touch!!(you are giving me ideas for my gold
and white swap !!)  The inside has "Be my Valentine" stamped in gold
also. Very nice!!!

Linda Isreal sent a really beautiful card.  Its layed on Red cardstock.
First there are gold embossed hearts on the red cardstock.  Then there
is ric-rac? or a type of ribbon running diagnally across the front.  In
the corner on top of the ribbon there is an angel sitting on top.  It is
the cutiest thing.  I know my explanation does not do it justice!

I received a wonderful Rak from KWilloughby.  Its a layed card also.  It
has a base of red cardstock, then it has tissue paper with little hearts
and "happy Valentines day on it..  I love the way she wrapped the paper
around the entire card, then cutting out the upper corner to place a
ribbon bowtie.  On top of the tissue paper are red hearts.  Inside were
wonderful goodies.  She sent a few Herbal Teas YUM (just what I need
with the cold front that moved in!!) and a UM of a cute teddybear. Thank
you so much for the RAK!!!
