I *might* have ordered one from Stampo though.. I guess I'll find out when I get my package next week.. I do still have the e-mail where I ordered stuff but I'm too lazy to check and figure will be more fun opening the box if it's a surprise.. then I'll compare what I got to what I ordered and we'll go from there! The instructions I picked up other day said to lay your color on the EP rather than the paper and drag it to the paper with the blender. Well talk about tedious! what I been doing instead.. and this works really well, actually.. is take the blender to the marker and grab my color straight from the source then put it to the paper. mind you, so far I've only even tried on 5 of those psx dogwoods. anno This message was from "anno" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Do I like their job? Certainly NOT. Would I prefer not to receive these calls? Yes, I don't like to receive them. Also, the Carol Wright questionairs that you get with coupons, they interviiewed a guy in prison that took a ladies name, address, that she was a widow and stalked her and harassed her. What could they do to him? He was already in prison.. He sat there and told the news guy that he did it, and that any of the prisoners could do it too, and that it wasn't safe to send those in. I reached in and the first item I pulled out was oh so familiar! Everything was wrapped individually in tissue paper. I got a second heart shaped tin of Russell Stover chocolates with Elvis 's picture on the lid ! I absolutely loved him in his jumpsuit era. Yummy to both ! This pkg was a garden theme with a pair of garden gloves and something I wanted for a long time, a knee protector pad. I pulled out another sweet which is a rose but it turns out to be candy. Neat I got a floating candle and a hand made card with a garden on it. I also got some goodies to play with. I just love that rubber stamping stuff ! I got Designer garden stickers with sayings, Cut-Out shapes, 11 1/2 sheets of card stock, ( I love the glossies) and oh boy, 2 cat's eye ink pads I LOVE embossing with colored ink) and a set of 32 mini-garden stamps from All Night Media. I actually ended up being sick thru Wednesday, which is a much longer time than I anticipated. I probably would've felt better had I been able to eat anything, but all I did was drink tea, soda, water, soup. My hubby even wanted to go buy Ensure - he was worried. Friends have showed up at the door with soup, popsicles, sherbet and anything else 'liquid'. My t-shirt size by the Marlboro convention time may be small (from xl, ha ha). The weight loss is good, but why this way!?! But anyway, its another week and I'm feeling much better. I do not look forward to going back on 3/5 for chemo #2. Blah Blah Yuk Yuk. So far, my hair is intact, but with each shower, I look at the drain. Maybe I'll be one of the lucky ones. I've got wig mags here which can be ordered in 2 days time. I've rec'd wonderful cards from Stamperella, Stacia B and Biblelots. Also, was surprised by a phone call from Marsha Brayman in Texas. The creative packaging created quite a stir at my house. The stamps arrived in a frozen food container, Pagoda Cafe Potstickers. I have never seen or heard of this brand name nor have we ever eaten potstickers in my home. My DH thought I had gone off the deep end ordering one container of Chinese food through the mail. For a minute he thought we were about to do some experimental eating. My Happy Rubber Club package arrived also. The Rubber club is a great idea. I have only good things to say about the service and the beautiful stamps. The orders I place at Grapevine with Judikins and Stampout Cute arrived. More stamps and speedy service. Having met the distributors in person was an added bonus. From Fran the Frantic Stamper I received sticker paper and beautiful cardstock. Thanks for the gift of Easter stickers. Lynn Lipchak sent a package of extra items she is trading through the network of traders set up by Germaine of Germaine's Gallery. Thank you so much Lynn. My order from the Rubber Chicken Lady arrived. I love the PSX catalogue. It is beautiful and the guide for creating the samples shown is very detailed. This is one purchase I am glad I made. Everything arrived in good shape. Thank you for your service. I got a bag stuffed full of rubber from Toad Hall. The postoids and other images are wonderful. Thanks for allowing me to order this package way past the deadline. I am very, very pleased. From list members I received a gift of parchment paper for Jhone. She sent it just because she knew parchment paper would create a better effect thank Kraft paper for a project I was trying to do. She sent lots of paper at no charge. I cannot tell you what this Random Act of Kindness means to me. I am always amazed at the generosity of the members on this list. Thank you Jhone I mean it sincerely. KC Davis sent some of the extra word stamps she got in a Toad Hall order. I really wanted the stamps and she sent them. Again, the kindness of list members floors me. There, have I buttered you up enough? What passes for CardFile in Win95? PLEASE tell me something does. CardFile was in Accessories in Windows 3.1. That's where I have all my stamp catalog info on disk. So far I haven't been able to find a category where Win95 can read it. That's the usual problem with "New & Improved"--they screw up the "old & Just Fine" part of whatever it is. From the Anonymous Racker: an envelope containing a nice letter which explained that some of the contents were: "cards and things from swaps, conventions and friends". There were cards, confetti, convention pins, a pattern for the lotus card, and some paper for making cards. There were some bookmarks to stamp, as well as colored tassels for each. My kids have decided they want to stamp those...If I'm not careful, they'll take over my new hobby!! From Linda Isreal: a cute card made with red cardstock, with gold embossed hearts, lace, and a 3-D angel on the front...very pretty! From Marci Williams: white cardstock covered with vellum and tied with a thin red ribbon along one side...she embossed white hearts all over the vellum, except for the bottom left side where she embossed the same heart in red. The white hearts are shaded pink from behind the vellum...Also very pretty! Donna sent me a really cute Valentine's Day Card. It has a series of red doilies (I think) with a white feather coming out of one of them. Has red "Happy Valentines Day" stamped and some little hearts on the front of the card. Really nice Donna. These are wonderful. They look like a regular postmark, with a circle and the wavy lines, but have my return address in the circle. Chris took my order, made a change in his original drawing, made the stamps, and shipped them - all between Monday and Friday of this week! This is wonderful - and the price is so good that these would be terrific gifts for friends (even non-rubber stampers could appreciate the humor in them.) Thank you, Chris, for a wonderful product at a wonderful price. - -- jhone "Tilting at windmills hurts you more than the windmills." (Robert A.
