In fact, I am one of the few people on this list, past and present, who has swapped that way with her and didn't get in argument first! Now, I know that AJ was we sometimes call her, is a Canadian resident and sometimes has a hard time with card swapps held by US hosts due postage and all that stuff. I just bet she starts these little tiffs so she can swap cards with people! LOL Seriously, AJ is entitled to her opinion just liek the rest of us. And others are entitled to their opinions of AJ. But if you take the time to get to know her, you'll find that while you won't always agree with her or the way she says things, she is a good person and worth knowing. Rather than get upset becuase she has posted her opinion on something and someone diagrees I start laughing 'cause I know there's a swap in the very near future for both parties! Come on guys, let's not take everything posted here, especially opinions, so darn seriously! It's not like it's a matter of life and death that everyone agrees with everyone else, we're all different in a way! Lots of procrastinators out there~!!! ok, who am I to talk!! I procrastinate too! I only have seven packages and there are 25 players!! ONE WEEK LEFT!!! Exotic Paper Swap! This will be for exotic papers only! No mulberry cause it's very easy to come by and common. No printed tissue paper. No printed cardstock/paper like the type you would use for scrapbooking. Size to send in: about 1/4 sheet of paper size. 1/4 of 8.5 x 11 - I'll let you do the math! LOL Send in as many as you want and I sure would appreciate an extra piece for me?? :-) Oh, please let me know how many you are sending in. I don't want you to send in way too many if there aren't enough players. Here are some examples of what to send, not restricted to these of course cause I certainly don't know all the different papers out there! LOL Papyrus, french marble, metallic marble, mango, other fibers (except mulberry), banana, abaca, embossed, bark, Marbled Momi, unryu, snake textured, other unusual textures, petal paper, paste paper, holographic sticker paper, etc, etc, etc. I think you get the idea. Lots of do's and don'ts, huh? Well, Sorry about all that, but I agree with others who have emailed me and I'm sure if these guidelines are followed, everyone will just love their return packages!!! Postage: Same postage you sent me PLUS one .23 cent stamp!!! Thank you. The .23 will take care of it when the papers sent to you are heavier than the ones you sent. Due date: How about March 1st? Is that enough time to stuff envy's with exotic papers? I can extend it if need be, but I don't imagine this would take anyone very long. Let me know if you are interested!!! We're moving! (Well, hopefully we're moving--everyone cross your fingers quick and say a prayer to the Rental Application Gods.) So I need to find homes for some stuff, including swap cards. I have 150 items--most are cards, I have a few envelopes, pins, magnets, and also sketch books (either made for me or made for friends who then passed them on to me.) So I can share the wealth with as many people as possible, I thought I'd set a limit at ten items per person. So if you want some, here's what you need to do: e-mail me. I'll give you my snail addy. You then send me a Self-Adressed Stamped Envelope--probably will take 78 cents postage. (If you want, don't put the stamps on and then I'll send back whatever isn't needed.) I'll go on a first come, first served basis *by* when I get the envelopes (not when I get the e-mail.) Please also let me know if you have a preference to cute or weird. If you abhor one style, I'll do my best not to include any cards of that kind. I have a lot of both types and also some in between. Any questions, let me know. Okay, on your marks....get set........ Yippee!! DH got tickets to the Friday, March 27th concert in Winston-Salem, NC (where we live). He was sixth in line (they used a lottery system to decide who was first in line to keep people from camping out) and we got FANTASTIC seats. The concert sold out in 17 minutes (a record time for any concert here), so he booked an extra concert for Saturday (the 28th). That sold out in less than 30 minutes, so he booked Thursday (the 26th). When THAT sold out, he booked for Wednesday (the 25th). Nobody here can believe it. We have a small coliseum anyway and were surpised at the first concert.....now there are 4!! Our seats are to the right and slightly forward of the stage, just off the floor. Exactly where I wanted to be. Isn't my DH wonderful? All I've wanted for ages is to see Garth LIVE.....and now I will. I'm so happy, I'm almost hysterical. I promise to tell all about the concert (to any who care to hear). You guys are the GREATEST! 12 wonderful people responded and 6 more wanted to know the answer to this! Sewthrill gave me the easiest way to do this. Thanks Sewthrill! "I go and highlight what I want then go to the REPLY button and hit it. Now you will have the specific information you want. Now go and hit PRINT on top where your aol menu is. Once it is printed you go to the X which means close and choose that(it is over the SEND NOW button) Now it closes since you are not really sending any e-mail out. It takes you to the original message and you close that one also. That's it". I highlighted by keeping my left mouse button down and using the down arrow key at the same time. All other suggestions were saving as a txt. file: example from LindaSueN (Thanks Linda Sue) "Put your mouse on the FILE drop down menu in the upper left corner of your screen- click your left mouse button to drop down the menu and click on SAVE AS-then name it(ex.mstrswap.txt) and save it to the directory you want to put it in. I've created a directory called "RSStuff". Later, when I'm done with opening my mail - I go to the word processing program and open up that document. Then I can edit and delete what I don't want - saves a lot of paper when printing! Also, I can change the font to whatever I want and adjust margins too!" Thanks to Diane, Vickie, Lopez Lady, Nan, Linda, JD, Carole, Barb, jhone, Lori, Jenner, and Rustamping ! You are all terrific!
