He bought me an old blue one. The first thing I did was buy those neon lights that go underneath. Then I got the lights that go around the license plate. All in pink. Then I applied for the license plate FLAMNG-0. Get it!! I though it was gonna be so cool. Well, I accidently checked the box that said I would take another number and I ended up with FLAMNG-1 ....oh, no!!..."flaming one". How stupid. I wanted to be a pink flamingo. Then the cops kept stopping us until we removed all the lights. What a drag. When we moved a couple months ago, we got rid of all the Bugs (but for some reason my husband kept all the light kits). Now I want a vintage Ranchero or an El Camino...'cause I'm a cowgirl now!! Gonna fill the back up with my herd of Australian Blue Heelers. YeeHaa!!! She first askes them if the magazines are on audio tape then she asks if their on computer disk. When they reply no she tells them she is blind. They are generally so embarassed they immediately hang up. The second, I was awoken by a telemarketer at 8am on a Saturday. They were wanting me to switch long distance carriers. Well, when I moved into my apartment the down payment for long distance was $200 that I don't have. So, I don't have long distance service right now. The only people I HAVE to call is my parents and they have an 800 number because of the travel my sister and I do. Well, the minute I told them I didn't have long distance they hung up! It was great! Just wanted to say another big THANKS to everyone who helped me with my dilemma wherein I had stamped in dye ink on glossy and wanted to add some soft, subtle color. I bought a set of chalks and a tombow blender pen today and used both! The pen is wonderful - I colored on a plastic plate with my pastel LePlumes and then "scrubbed" the color around on the plastic with the blender...when I used the blender on my cards, not only did it not smear the stamped image, but the color is so beautifully pale and lovely. I had some big areas to color, too, and the chalks actually worked! They are VERY pale on glossy, but surprisingly they stick really well! I tried to "rub off" some of the color with my thumb, but it stayed just fine. I don't think I even need to use a fixative. Hooray! Thanks again, everyone. I'd like to know as wouldn't want someone forwarding what I said privately unless they also saw it on the list. What a relaxing time I had! I finished my items for 3 swaps--Oh! actually, I forgot! FOUR swaps!--and started on two others!! And another thing that I really enjoy is cooking. But for what seems like the longest time, I've only pulled stuff out of the fridge and nuked it. (Or, the kids have done it for themselves) This weekend, I actually went to the store and bought real food and cooked it. Mmmmmmm... I feel decidedly relaxed today! Back to work! Thanks again for all your patronage--It's wonderful having you as friends and customers! :-D awn Golden Sunrise Enterprises sunrise@wolfenet.com http://members.tripod.com/~Sunrise/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ QUOTE FOR THE DAY I believe you should live each day as if it is your last, which is why I don't have any clean laundry, because, come on, who wants to wash clothes on the last day of their life? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This message was from Dawn - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modem= s Arts & Crafts Forum.
