WELL - a lot of that clipart (incl. those gorgeous angels!!!) and a **lot** of new stuff, is now available in Rubber Stamp format........ and I'm proud to say I am her Sales Rep. on this list - for BOTH Canadian and US customers. (She's busily drawing more - for Broderbund and other customers) I find that often a simple stamped image looks GREAT, on a card printed in PA, PSE, or Corel, etc. I'm fairly new at stamping myself, but I especially love using the stamps and gold embossing powder to make "gold angels", etc. to put on layered cards, etc. ***For all fellow Canadians on this list, Sherry is going to be designing a whole NEW line of Canadian Rubber Stamps!!! To d/l a catalogue (that's the only way they could make them "viewable" in precise detail) go to http://www.globaldialog.com/~stodryk/btsc/ If you have trouble d/l the catalogue, or lack of time, etc. - go to the Sparrow Wing Clipart site at http://www.globaldialog.com/~stodryk and look at the *color* thumbnail sketches of all her clipart. (To see the "new" style of angels VERY suited to rubber stamping, check out the sets of "Heavenly Friends" - her snow angels). You can get some great ideas for coloring the stamped images later on by viewing these colored thumbnail sketches of clipart! (The borders are avail. as 3" x 5" stamps BTW! Awesome!) There is a printed 36 page catalogue available for $6.00 US which you may order by mail from me. It shows the stamps currently available, prices, accessories, etc. NEW STAMPS will be added shortly - the catalogue will *really* expand, and they will also be added to the website very soon. Bird Tracks Stamp Co. IS an "Angel" Company - in that you can use their stamps on items you make for resale, just as you can with Sherry's graphics. Stamps range in size from 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" up to 3" x 5", and even by 3" x 8". Orders may be placed through me, but will be drop-shipped directly to you - from Bird Tracks Stamp Co. in Wisconsin, via US Mail - regular or Priority. Shipping charges will vary, depending on the weight of the package. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted. To place an order, or if you have any questions, please contact me at: hfroese@mb.sympatico.ca Thank you for your time! I also Did NOT say men cant raise families etc, but that men and women are differant not just physically but in the way they do things. It's permanent and dries almost immediately with no heat setting. Even alcohol markers don't smear it. Problem is it really stains your stamps. I used to ahve the cleanest stamps in the world. I finally got over THAT and it doesn't matter anymore. Also, if you are shrinking the plastic in the oven (I found this is the best way, more even heating), I usually put the plastic on the backside of a bathroom tile (not the shiny side) and place the tile on a cookie sheet. Then I take a cookie cooling rack (mine is up high enough that it doesn't touch the plastic, but you could put more tiles or pieces of tiles under the legs so the rack doesn't touch the plastic) and place it over the piece making sure the rack doesn't touch the plastic. This way when the plastic starts to curl up (and it will!), it won't roll over and stick to itself. Other people swear by the heat set crafters ink, but I think this permanent messy stuff is a lot easier. If you have any more questions, please ask!
