This week I finally got set up to make my own stamps. I want to thank everyone who has been so wonderful about taking a leap of faith on a new vendor and ordering cardstock grabbags from me. What I would like to offer now is a grabbag of unmounteds of my 1st plate of rubberstamps for $20.00 which includes shipping in the US. Add $1.00 shipping for Canada, Germany, Great Britain and Ireland. Add $2.00 shipping for Australia and New Zealand. Let me know if I left anyone out. There are a total of eighteen images that fill a 9" x 13" sheet. There are six large ones, 4 medium, 4 small, 2 word type and 2 tiny ums. The large stamps are all large enough to fill the front of a card. These include a frog on a lily pad, a bridge with a stream running underneath, a mountain scene, 2 hummingbirds with flowers, a beach scene with seashells, and a large basket of flowers. The medium stamps include an Indian girl feeding a bird, a boy bunny shyly giving a girl bunny flowers, a feather (like a writing quill), and a sign that says Honeybees Welcome. The small stamps are a cactus, a begging dog, a chick on an egg with a feather in his hat and a butterfly. The word stamps are Handstamped By: and Good Job! The tiny stamps are a bird in flight (perfect for adding to the sky of your card) and a postoid size frog on a lily pad. I accept checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. I would love to make a grabbag of ums for you or for your SS. By the way, Creative Images is an angel company. If you have any questions you can e-mail me or feel free to give me a call at 316-364-8744. Saleswise, I think a lot of vendors will probably only cover their expenses, though. Ratio of customers to vendors was not great--and heard some vendors say they won't be back next year. Why does such a well established show have such a small turnout? Stargazer's estimate of five customers in the whole place on Sunday morning was accurate--it did pick up a bit in the afternoon, but not much. We have lots of the new Fiskars 12" paper trimmers and the large Fiskar corrugators left over--Jan demonstrated these and they are great. Did you know you can score your cards with the paper trimmers too--just don't push down hard enough to cut through the card stock. Watch for a COMM on these, or e-mail me if you don't see me post. I'm famous for saying I'm going to run some ads and never getting them typed. California is so beautiful--it was hard to come back to our snow....and our kitchen that is being totally gutted....and the puppy that still isn't potty trained. If you wrote and I haven't responded, please write again--I didn't unsub, and had a thousand messages to go through--might have deleted some by mistake. She is almost back to her old self. She will get her IV out this afternoon. Her hand has been wrapped up like a boxing glove to keep her from picking at it. I am sure she will be thrilled to have her hand back. She will still continue on oral antibiotics until the surgery to prevent a new infection. They can't do the surgery if there is ANY infection present, so 'yall keep your fingers crossed that the antibiotics do their job. She actually napped yesterday and only got up twice (very briefly both times) last night, so I am starting to get some rest. I may not have to die in order to rest, after all. :-) She is playing more and whinning less. I didn't have to spend the whole day holding her yesterday (boy, was that a nice change), she actually played with her little kitchen and her "babies". What a relief. Of course now the boy child (my six year old, Alex) has an ear infection. I took him to the doc yesterday. He isn't going to school today, either. He's still running a little fever. He says he feels better, though. So hopefully, the two kids will keep each other occupied today. Maybe I can even get some work done. Thank you all for your concern. Many of you have written to say you are praying for or thinking about her. I appreciate that very much. They have changed her admission date for the surgery to March 12th. It still seems so far away, but it is a few days closer. 'Yall keep her in your thoughts, please. And I will keep you posted. The neutral cardstock grabbag have been selling extremely well, but the biggest comment everyone kept making is I want colors. So how about a 75 sheet Victorian Colors Grabbag for $10.00 plus $3.00 shipping. This grabbag includes: Dark Victorian Blue, Deep Plum Linen, Ash (which is a tan with black flecks throughout) and White Linen. These are all 80 lb cardstock 8 1/2" x 11" sheets. I also still have the Neutral Paper Grabbags which includes: White Embossed Leather, Pebblestone, Oyster Flecks, and Cottonwood. All of these are textured or have flecks or specks of a variety of neutral colors throughout the cardstock. These are not plain ho-hum papers - they are all quite beautiful. All are 80 lb. cardstock except the pebblestone which is 65 lb. The Neutral Grabbag is 75 sheets of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock for $10.00 plus $3.00 shipping. If you purchase 2 or more grabbags the total shipping is just $3.00 even if these are shipped to different addresses in the U.S. For shipping to Canada, Great Britain, Germany and Belgium add $6.95 for 1st grabbag and $3.95 for each additional grabbag. For delivery to Australia and New Zealand add $8.95 shipping and $5.95 for each additional grabbag. If you have questions about delivery to any other country I would be happy to let you know what the cost would be. Either grabbag would make a perfect SS gift and I love making up SS packages. For an additional $5.00 I would be happy to make a March SS package that would have extra goodies. Contact me if you are interested and we will work out what it would contain based on your SS. I accept checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card. If you have any questions you can e-mail me or feel free to give me a call at 316-364-8744.
