How do vendors feel about putting the "expiration date" of their ad either in the subject line of the message like this: "RS:AD: white cardstock sale exp3/30/98" or, putting it first thing in the body of the message. That way, i won't have to scroll down and read through to see if this is an expired ad or not. Plus, it will help me decide HOW SOON to spend my $$$$. You all could just try it, and see how it works. Ideas? Comments? (let's not start the how many ad stuff, just a response to this particular idear) Thank ya. We pay a fee per county that we want to register in, and the registry is renewed every two or four years. Its a relatively small fee. Know very little about copyrights. Heard it was something like minimal $250. plus attorney ? I needed proof of registration to open a bank account in the business name. Perhaps you could duplicate a business name, depending on reach of business, and type of registration they used. I think I could challange any business using my name in the counties I have registered in, and the company with the oldest legal claim to the name would probably win. Please note, the last two sentances are speculation only, not legally varified. Don't want to mislead you all. Contact someone whos running the same type of operation you are interested in creating, and as them what they did to legalize and protect their business name. My teenagers went with me to Costco and we picked up a 5 pound bag of assorted candies. Then at the bank, I gave the teller a big handful, saying this was returning the treats we've been given. My youngest, Cathleen, got a long face over this. "Gee, Dad. I was quite amused that the efficient Mr. Evo had neglected to include the shelves...until I noticed one corner of one piece of cardboard was peeling back a little... and guess what...there were the shelves! covered so carefully on each side with kraft-colored adhesive paper that I almost didn't realize what they were...Very slim and sturdy...and scratch and dust free... (sigh) So, on one side of each shelf, I affixed the Loop (or is it the hook--I can never remember), rounded up my mounted stamps...and in just a few minutes, they are all organized in NO space at all and very accessible. I put the indexes on the opposite side of the panel with double stick tape. Sorry, EVO, but I *must* have my pictures!! :) I would recommend these to those of you who are wavering; they work splendidly, install quickly and take up about as much space as--well, you get the picture. Thanks for the quick service, EVO, and congratulations on this great idea. I'm back on the list again. My surgery was successful; the doctor said this morning that my eyesight tested at 20/20! :) I still have a lot of healing to do, and my eyesight may fluctuate for a month or so, but it is already vastly improved. The first thing I noticed is how bright all the colors seem. Thanks for all the good wishes you sent my way. I really appreciated them.
