The last nine days I've been *unexpectedly* in the hospital. It began as more or less a scheduled test that turned into semi-emergency surgery. I'll not go into too many details, lest I bore you. It seems (after many tests) that the large muscle in my right thigh had died. Just up and died. Similar to a heart attack. In a heart attack, the blood and/or oxygen is cut off from your heart muscle and it dies within a very short time. The first indication I had that something was wrong was the 4th of February. Woke up feeling like someone had hit me in the thigh with a baseball bat. Went to Doctor 4 days later, it got so bad, and was getting worse and beginning to swell..now, mind you in NO NO NO way had I injured myself, no running, didn't trip, no spills..no wild sex...nothing. My doctor was baffled as to what it was because I showed no more signs of infection than intense pain and mild swelling. She thought it might be a deep tissue abscess, which the tests proved it was not. As of now the general consensus thinks it was a "heart attack" of sorts. You might know that a heart attack is a lack of blood and/or oxygen to an area. When that occurs, the area dies within a *very* short time. Then the next 'ring' of tissue begins to die..and so on..and so on. So far, the docs don't even know to treat it, much lesson how to call the shots. To try and make a very long story short, ENNYway, I had a appointment with a specialist about 9 days ago. He immediately put me in the hospital, operated the next day and removed a hunk of dead muscle about the size of a bar of soap! and there I was stuck until a couple of days ago. My hubby and my daughter, Raina, helped out as best they could...but they do not know my business or you list members. They were willing to help with no begging on my part , I didn't feel I could possibly 'correct' or criticize anything they did. Sooooo, now they have me on what's called Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment every single day for *at least* the next 20. This is a last resort type of thing. I won't describe how it works, tooooo long. If my muscle tissue does not stop dying, they can find the reason, or how to fix this before it spreads to vital organs. If there is not some sign, no matter how small that my leg is better in about a week, I'll loose the leg...and then just pray tge dusease dies ii u ekaueit does not show up in another part of my body. One only has a certain amount of things one can give up!!! What I'm embarrassinly asking you, that if you sent something to me from about the in the last 9 days, to PLEASE please resend. I have a few, but am missing some invoices and records of orders saved. If you sent me an order, or asked ques5ionw, either about Soap or Pearl Powders, please do so. Or if you sent me an order and I din't mill it, My rep as a *fast*, reputable vendor means a lot to me and I certainly want to keep it!!But sometimes things happen beyond our control. I want to assure you, that in the future, this will not happen. I'vw made arrgenents to ensure that. The DH, Don is an incredible man. He has set up a double protection "system" for us to use, taken the time to learn the use the computer and anything else he can think of to throw himself into my business. He's retired, so he has the time and he's ready to go! ALL my customers whether paying or not are important to me. Also, please don't hesitate to let this get in the way of any orders you might be contemplating, I have an excellent reputation and I will do just about anything to maintain it. This week I finally got set up to make my own stamps. I want to thank everyone who has been so wonderful about taking a leap of faith on a new vendor and ordering cardstock grabbags from me. What I would like to offer now is a grabbag of unmounteds of my 1st plate of rubberstamps for $20.00 which includes shipping in the US. Add $1.00 shipping for Canada, Germany, Great Britain and Ireland. Add $2.00 shipping for Australia and New Zealand. Let me know if I left anyone out. There are a total of eighteen images that fill a 9" x 13" sheet. There are six large ones, 4 medium, 4 small, 2 word type and 2 tiny ums. The large stamps are all large enough to fill the front of a card. These include a frog on a lily pad, a bridge with a stream running underneath, a mountain scene, 2 hummingbirds with flowers, a beach scene with seashells, and a large basket of flowers. The medium stamps include an Indian girl feeding a bird, a boy bunny shyly giving a girl bunny flowers, a feather (like a writing quill), and a sign that says Honeybees Welcome. The small stamps are a cactus, a begging dog, a chick on an egg with a feather in his hat and a butterfly. The word stamps are Handstamped By: and Good Job! The tiny stamps are a bird in flight (perfect for adding to the sky of your card) and a postoid size frog on a lily pad. I accept checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. I would love to make a grabbag of ums for you or for your SS. By the way, Creative Images is an angel company.
