Most of the emails comparing me to the Butcher of Baghdad have accused me of whining and looking for sympathy on the list... I, of course, didn't intend that but can see how it could have come across that way... and there's no question at all that I HAVE taken it personally whenever VLVS! was attacked. I have spent a week mulling this over and realize that no one wants to hear my personal problems or excuses or my "facts" which make me think I'm in the "right"... you just want your rubber and you want it yesterday... so it's really not doing me any favors to forward negative posts about VLVS! to me... there ARE some things that your best friends SHOULDN'T tell you I guess (or at least "me") because I tend to go all ballistic and lash out which only brings more wrath down upon my head. I do apologize to Linda as well for posting a "personal" email to the list... there was a "public" post from Linda to the list and a "private" one, both saying about the same thing and when I wrote to the list, I addressed points from both as well as some other posts that had been forwarded to me... I wish now, of course, that I'd never attempted to explain "my side" and will try my best to not do so in the future as every time I've tried over the years the repercussions are far worse than the original transgression. I do hope THIS apology won't upset anyone further as that is not my intention. I don't need more enemies. As far as the State of the Onion goes, ALL orders received either by FAX or by means of our Online Order form have been entered in the computer and to the best of my knowledge, have also been shipped out (unless there was rubber involved which takes a little longer). For the last week and a half or so, we've been on our usual schedule of shipping orders within 24 hours, if not the day received. If you have not received your order or a confirmation of your order, then it means we don't have it. If you phoned in your order and haven't received a confirmation, we don't have it. Remember when I said I was cutting out phone service... when I did change the Voice Mail system to not accept incoming messages, it wiped out all the messages I DID have and hadn't listened to... this is not being given as an excuse... it's being stated as a fact... in the same way that three to four weeks of orders sent via Juno were lost and some people never did get the word and are still waiting for orders we don't have in the system... each day I hear from one or two people in this situation so I'd appreciate your passing this word along on whatever boards or email lists you're on so anyone in this situation will know what's going on and that they should re-send their order. All I'm trying to say is the bottom line is that if you have put in an order and haven't received the order or a confirmation that the order has been received or shipped, please contact me and we'll get the order in the works right away. We also have about 35 orders that have been sitting waiting for payment for up to six weeks and I've emailed everyone once again since some of the complaints to the list about our service were from people whose orders had been waiting for payment which is why they hadn't been shipped... however, if I don't hear back from the people involved regarding payment by the end of the weekend, Monday, we'll have to put the stuff back into stock. It's frustrating as much of this stuff could have been sold to others had it been available... but I'll add it to out Last Call Sale list on my Web Page as it's put back into stock and hopefully, we'll find other buyers. A few orders WERE put back into stock yesterday so if you see something on the list that we were out of when you ordered it, please understand what's going on. Thanks again for listening and my apology IS sincere and from the bottom of my heart. I WAS in the wrong and hope you can overlook my bad behavior. I want to thank whoever sent me the adorable "K" pin. It was not signed and the postmark is disguised. The pin was stamped on clay?(I'm not sure of the name) and is colored in green and has little black dots all over--very cute!! Since Indiana has been awfully grey this winter, it was a delight to receive some sunshine via RAK's and cool stuff today! Received Phil's Egg template...now I know what all the fuss was about! Thanks, Phil! What a great idea. Dorothy (and Toto, too) Rak'd me with lots of sunshine from Florida! A lovely card with the Sonlight Impressions Watering Can floral arrangement...oooh, summer! Inside she had a verse stamp and simply "scribble-colored" over it. Pretty! Thanks, Dorothy!! Sandy Hampson sent a cute explosion card with many, many kitties! The inside cartoon read "We have 14 cats, but Kevin thinks we only have 12." This was appropriate since it was a tedious week with our kitten constantly tearing bits off a newly papered wall...anyone need a muff?! Thanks, Sandy! :) Mary This message was from ISTMP2 - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. I just loved it. I really have been wanting to try the embossing glaze, but was not really sure what it was. Thanks for that. I loved the necklace and perfume. My kids had ball with all the bubble wrap. We are all addicted to popping them. The new pin was great I do not have any of those. The stickers, and everthing else was wonderful Thank you so much. I will be waiting for next months goodies to arrive!! Debi Lym This message was from SiteImprov - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Eileen This stuff tastes EXACTLY like Lipton's Onion-Soup Mix... you know, the stuff you throw on roasts and make dips and soups with. We find ourselves using it A LOT, and it sure beats buying those little, expensive boxes at the store. [And while we're at it, do any of YOU have any recipes for store-bought products that cost an arm and a leg?] Lipton Onion Soup Mix: 3/4 cup instant minced onion 1/3 cup beef-flavored instant bouillon 4 teas. onion powder 1/4 teas. celery seed, crushed 1/4 teas. sugar Mix together and store in the refrigerator. Lasts at least six months. Shalom! Shalom alechem! ("Peace, Peace be unto you!")
