They are shown on the stamping video "Special Effects for Mixed-Media" with artist Susan Pickering Rothamel. WOW - does she pack a lot of info in that 65 minutes of ideas. My head is still reeling from all the neat things she showed. If you stampers are in a slump - you really, really, really need to get to a stamp store and rent a stamping video if possible. I know my favorite stamp store in Columbia, MO - "I'd Rather Be Stamping" does rentals. If yours does not, there are several vendors on the list that occasionally sell them at a discount. I even bought one of the Dee Gruenig videos for my SSS. I have a couple of her videos, 2 of Kristen Powers' effie glitzfinger videos, and the newest Special Effects for Mixed-Media video. Sandy has diabetes, and she developed a soreness in the muscle of her leg. Her doctor was mystified, and they did some surgery (which in inself is a risk, because of infection). They found that part of the muscle in her leg had ... just died. She explained it to me that it was as though the muscle had a heart attack ... that muscle and tissue had died from lack of blood flow and oxygen. They had to remove the muscle in that part of her leg ... She now has to have a series of treatments that, if successful, will mean she will keep her leg. Sandy is a vendor - she sells hand made soaps, moisturizers, etc. - all natural ingredients. And her concern is that she wouldn't be able to meet the expectations of her customers. I told her that's the last thing she should be worried about ... but it is important to Sandy that she keeps her commitments, and so she's really wanting to do that, and with the help of her loving husband, I'm sure she will. Sandy and I first became acquainted as a result of ... a flame ... (why doesn't that surprise me) ... and she's been a faithful contributor to the r/s list; she's very, very conscientious about her product and her service. I know she will be blessed by your prayers and kind wishes. Sincerely, Ant Judy H. The neutral cardstock grabbag have been selling extremely well, but the biggest comment everyone kept making is I want colors. So how about a 75 sheet Victorian Colors Grabbag for $10.00 plus $3.00 shipping. This grabbag includes: Dark Victorian Blue, Deep Plum Linen, Ash (which is a tan with black flecks throughout) and White Linen. These are all 80 lb cardstock 8 1/2" x 11" sheets. I also still have the Neutral Paper Grabbags which includes: White Embossed Leather, Pebblestone, Oyster Flecks, and Cottonwood. All of these are textured or have flecks or specks of a variety of neutral colors throughout the cardstock. These are not plain ho-hum papers - they are all quite beautiful. All are 80 lb. cardstock except the pebblestone which is 65 lb. The Neutral Grabbag is 75 sheets of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock for $10.00 plus $3.00 shipping. If you purchase 2 or more grabbags the total shipping is just $3.00 even if these are shipped to different addresses in the U.S. For shipping to Canada, Great Britain, Germany and Belgium add $6.95 for 1st grabbag and $3.95 for each additional grabbag. For delivery to Australia and New Zealand add $8.95 shipping and $5.95 for each additional grabbag. If you have questions about delivery to any other country I would be happy to let you know what the cost would be. Either grabbag would make a perfect SS gift and I love making up SS packages. For an additional $5.00 I would be happy to make a March SS package that would have extra goodies. Contact me if you are interested and we will work out what it would contain based on your SS. I accept checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card. If you have any questions you can e-mail me or feel free to give me a call at 316-364-8744. Man oh man, I can't believe how expensive hosting some swaps can be...I had to pay $26.75 in additional postage for these swap to get them out to you..That was my stamping money...BOO HOO.... Oh well, that is the way it is when you host swaps that have over 50 participants in them right!!! Let me know when you get them...I know you will be so pleased with the items you received!!! I enjoyed this swap big time and I look forward to hosting lots more... If you *do* use them, make sure that your card(s) or whatever your contents might be are in a baggie inside -- cause it's not a lovely sight to see the card that you worked hours on being all stuck to the gooey envelope. >> Ohhhhhhhhhh, good advice Antjudy. I hadn't given that any thought. Oops, I hope the ones I have already sent out get there alright. As for the addresses, I used clear packing tape over both addresses. Sure hope the stamp sticks--don't want my recipients to have to pay postage. Hmmmmmmmm, better start getting paper bags at the grocery store from now on. Oh boy, more things to stamp on.
