Thank you Lupie for hosting. I received beautiful cards from Kathy M., Sandy L., Dianne A., Ant Judy and one unknown. Dianne used green banana paper and layered a deckled edged oval with roses over a mauve cs. The saying "I Thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers" was stamped inside. Ant Judy used grey cs. She stamped a cherub painting flowers on white cs and adhered this to the grey cs. Psalm 92:4 was on yellow paper inside. Kathy's card was marbled pink. She layered mulberry paper and two squares with the sayings "I am a child of God" and "All Creatures great & small- The Lord God made them all". Sandy's card was Vellum. She embossed Lilies on the lower right edge and cut out just the right side. She bordered the top edge with gold embossed tape. The saying inside was "Let us give Thanks to the Risen Lord For His Glorious Gift of Life". The unknown card was a 3 dimensional card with a heart hanging from the center cut out heart sections. The saying was "Trust in the Lord with all Your Heart". I loved all of the cards. Thanks! With tax, this came to about $4.25. Pretty steep, especially since I give MCI hundreds of dollars monthly for legitimate charges. No doubt about it, there is a reason people can get a job in "Invoice Auditing." We can all save a bunch by auditing our own bills. My three dollar overcharge may not be much, but this coincides with the topic. Too many times I take the word of the company billing me only to find out later that I've been mischarged and it is often for much more than three dollars. If a vendor/Store/Source is higher then the other in my area, I just purchase else where. Here Micheals is higher on most things then AC Moore so I get more items at AC then Micheals. I get cardstock off the list , 1. cause its cheaper and 2. Fran is wonderful, 3. better quailty and 4. the stuff around here is horrid compared to Frans. But I get my vellum from a local art store cause its cheaper then off the list- but I dont run around screaming a vendor is higher on the list then locally. Comparison shop then buy it ! Why does the price/ that this vendor offers offend you so much, since you can get it closer to home cheaper ? - just get it from your local source. I can get a lot of PSX Stamps (AC Moore) cheaper at home then I can from the list vendors, so I just buy them local instead of mail order. But I don't go posting that a certain vendor is higher then my local source - whats the point of that ? Why do you want everyone to know who this vendor is ?? Why can't others decide for themselves if they want to order from him or not ? Perhaps this vendor has better deals then my store offers, better selection or is just a better vendor to deal with then a chain store. I guess I'm pretty dumb, but I still can't see the whole point of these messages. As far as the lines showing, I have done that several times and I just told Marlene the first time, "oh that is for a sample so that people see how easy they are"--she didn't beleive me.
