As there appears to be some confusion still, I just wanted to state again the best way to reach us is either by using our ONLINE ORDER FORM ON OUR WEB PAGE... (and since this is a free form "order form", you can even use it to write comments or questions about your order) or by FAXED order or SNAILED order (we have a text Order Form on our Web Page that you can print out for this purpose). I work in a corner where the FAX machine is six inches from my left ear and incoming faxes are handled immediately. The computer is directly in front of me and as I said before, the FIRST email I take off (and often the ONLY email for days at a time) is emailed orders directly from my Web Page at www.stampo.com as they have a header that signifies them as orders and thus makes them most important to me... if you just email me the regular old way, your email gets lumped in with a hundred or so others I receive a day and I physically can't get to all of them... this is not meant as an "excuse"... just a clarification of what gets handled and what doesn't in a typical day so that you can place your orders in a way likely to ensure priority handling. I STILL hear from people who placed orders during the black period in February when all orders emailed were lost through JUNO or phoned in orders which were also lost so I'd appreciate your spreading the word that such orders should be resent if they haven't been acknowledged or received and since we no longer offer phone service, preferably by one of the above recommended routes. It is my practice to acknowledge the order upon receipt and then to email you when the order is shipped... I discovered a flaw in this system last week when I'd emailed an order had shipped and then hadn't done the UPS label so have changed my procedure so that I do the invoice, then the UPS label and then the email to you to let you know your order has shipped and how much has been charged to your credit card... this should ensure that when I say an order has shipped, it really has! And if there's a shortage or wrong item sent in your order, please know that we will fix it immediately either through a refund or by sending out the correct merchandise... again, if you can send notification of any such problems VIA OUR ONLINE ORDER FORM FROM OUR WEB PAGE, you're assured of it getting handled in a priority manner. And one final request, please try to give me ALL the information at once... I'm TERRIBLE at putting pieces of paper together and that leads to a lot of upset customers. If I get ALL the information I need including your street address, credit card information, etc., I can just enter the order in the computer and things run smoothly but when there's email back and forth, it becomes overwhelming to me sometimes and things fall between the cracks unfortunately... well, not really between the cracks... in the voluminous piles of paper that breed at night on and around my desk. Thanks for listening! We want only to make you a satisfied customer... and you can help us to accomplish this if you understand my peccadilloes (is that a word? probably the wrong word to use here if it is but it's a fun word to use anyway)! These beguiling theories are in no way hypothetical. They are all real and attest to the high level of scientific literacy in our nation: * In some rocks we find the fossil footprints of fishes. * Many dead animals of the past changed to fossils while others preferred to be oil. * All animals were here before mankind. The animals lived peacefully until mankind came along and made roads, houses, hotels and condoms. * Sir Isaac Newton invented gravity. * The law of gravity says no fair jumping up without coming back down. * Galileo showed that the earth was round and not vice versa. He dropped his balls to prove gravity. * Mare Curie did her research at the Sore Buns Institute in France. * Men are mammals and women are femammals. * Proteins are composed of a mean old acid. * The largest mammals are to be found in the sea because there is nowhere else to put them. * Involuntary muscles are not as willing as voluntary ones. * Methane, a greenhouse gas, comes from the burning of trees and cows. * The spinal column is a long bunch of bones. The head sits on the top and you sit on the bottom. * Water is melted steam. * Mushrooms always grow in damp places and so they look like umbrellas. * A monkey has a reprehensible tail. * Some people say we condescended from the apes. * The leopard has black spots which look like round soars on its body. Those who catch soars get leprosy. * A cuckoo does not lay its own eggs. * To remove air from a flask, fill the flask with water, tip the water out and put the cork in, quick. * The three cavities of the body are the head cavity, the tooth cavity and the abominable cavity. * Most books say the sun is a star. But it still knows how to change back into the sun in the daytime. * Cadavers are dead bodies that have donated themselves to science. This procedure is called gross anatomy. * The cause of dew is through the earth revolving on its own axis and perspiring freely. * Hot lather comes from volcanoes, when it cools it turns into rocks. * A liter is a nest of young baby animals. * The earth makes a resolution every 24 hours. * Parallel lines never meet unless you bend one or both of them. * Algebra was the wife of Euclid. * A circle is a figure with 0 corners and only one side. * A right angle is 90 degrees Farenhight. * Genetics explains why you look like your father and if you don't, why you should. * A supersaturated solution is one that holds more than it can hold. * The pistol of a flower is its only protection against insects. * Respiration is composed of two acts, first inspiration, then expectoration. * An example of animal breeding is the farmer who mated a bull that gave a great deal of milk with a bull with good meat. * The hydra gets its food by descending upon its prey and pushing it into its mouth with its testicles. * If conditions are not favorable, bacteria go into a period of adolescence. * Water is composed of two gins, Oxygin and Hydrogin. Oxygin is pure gin. Hydrogin is gin and water. * When oxygen is combined with anything, heat is given off. This is known as constipation. * The hookworm larva enters the body through the soul. * As the rain forests in the Amazon are shrinking, so are the Indians. * A major discovery was made by Mary Leaky, who found a circle of rocks that broke wind. * The skeleton is what is left after the insides have been taken out and the outsides have been taken off. The purpose of the skeleton is something to hitch meat to. * You can listen to thunder after lightning and tell how close you came to getting hit. I sent a newbie some minor stuff to help her get started with this crazy hobby. Among the stuff was a piece of gold glossy cs on which I had glued pink mulberry paper. Well, this sweet newbie took that and made a nice card, and returned it to me with a note. Such a happy thing to find in my mailbox. See, it pays to be nice to the newbies. A Friend. Around the corner I have a friend In this great city that has no end, Yet the days go by and weeks rush on, And before I know it, a year is gone And I never see my old friends face, For life is a swift and terrible race, He knows I like him just as well As in the days when I rang his bell, And he rang mine. We were younger then, And now we are busy, tired men. Tired of playing a foolish game, Tired of trying to make a name. "Tomorrow" I say "I will call on Jim" "Just to show that I'm thinking of him" But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes, And distance between us grows and grows. Around the corner!-yet miles away, "Here's a telegram sir-""Jim died today." And that's what we get and deserve in the end. Around the corner, a vanished friend. If you love someone, tell them. Remember always to say what you mean. Never be afraid to express yourself. Take this opportunity to tell someone what they mean to you. Seize the day and have no regrets. Most importantly, stay close to your friends and family, for they have helped make you the person you are today and are what it's all about anyway. Pass this along to your friends. Let it make a difference in your day and theirs. The difference between expressing love and having regrets which may stay around forever. *****Anonymous***** =20 _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
