He does everything. I don't know the meaning of repair bill, plumber bill, auto repair bill, electrician bill, etc. He really can do anything, and he's a real keeper, Therefore, when he wants to buy another antique gun (he has a lot of them, and actually shoots them in competition) for his collection (that's what he collects as well as being a packrat), I give him money gifts to help him towards the cause. He does the same for me if I need (read want) something. Last year in his muzzle loader shooting club he place first for the year's aggaratate hi score. So, his guns have certainly earned him something: fame and glory and admiration of other men, if not money. Men who play with guns are often admired by other men. --`--,--{@ Patti in Fort Myers, FL @}--`--,-- Computers are life. Rubberstamping is art. Eileen deMars made a Noah standing there holding 3D birds on a staff and in the other hand giraff's and bears (Too Cute). The image is stamped on white paper and watercolored layered on brown craft crimped paper on a purple cardstock that has three corners cut with corner scissors (art deco). Vickie Bayer Gates has a very detailed stamp of the inside of an ark in black and white layered on black cardstock Lori Nelson used white cardstock and stamped the Ark (colored in with pencils?) surrounded with blue rain. Susan Benedict used black "leather" cardstock for the card and layered a bright blue that has the ark embossed in black (very cute, the bears are fishing). There's a "rainbow" strip at the bottom of the card. Tina Chacon stamped a really cute ark on white paper and did an awesome job of using markers for the colors then layered the cut out ark on a 3d heart shape and added a bow. Very nice work ladies. I really enjoyed this swap. This message was from Cindy - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Hi All! Spring is just around the corner....and so is Giggle's birthday!! That's right!! Giggle's birthday is the first day of spring!! Guess what she gets for her birthday? An $8000 Chemo bill!! Well....actually it is due a few days later on...can you believe this...April 1st! BUT IT IS NO JOKE...as you can imagine!! The good news? With all the love and generosity from people on the list...she is over half way there!!! Lets help her make it the rest of the way....and lets have FUN doing it!!! As you can imagine...financial help is only a part of what Giggles needs right now!! She needs encouragement, emotional support and of course......HUMOR!!! "Giggle's Spring Fling" is a way to give her all that....and have fun too! How to play in "Giggle's Spring Fling" Take an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of card stock and fold it into 6 even pieces. This is done by folding in half, top to bottom, then folding left to right, into thirds. Cut the 6 sections out. Then, on however many sections you decide to, stamp or write something encouraging....or funny! Tell her what she means to you....tell her a joke! It can be as simple or elaborate as you like! Be sure to put your name and address on the back! For each section you wish to encourage Giggles with, send $1.....or all six sections for $5! They need to be received by March 31st!
