A man and a women in a doorway and the man says I have nothing to say about women in general--I prefer to stick to subjects I understand! The Rubber Goddess - Blue cardstock layered with a once white glossy cardstock. Add what you really like. Here is the recipe- Garden Vegetable Soup 2/3 cup sliced carrot,1/2 cup chopped onion, 2 garlic cloves,3 cups broth any flavor (I use the low sodium one),11/2 cups diced cabbage, 1/2 cup green beans, 1 Tbsp. tomato paste, 1/2 tsp. dried basil, 1/4 tsp. dried oregano, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/2 cup diced zucchini. In large saucepan, sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, saute carrot , onion and garlic over low heat until soft about 5 minutes) Add broth, cabbage, beans, tomato paste, basil oregano and salt, bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer, covered, about 15 minutes or until beans are tender. Stir in zucchini and heat about 5 Minutes. Serve hot. On the new point system each serving is equal to 0 points. So enjoy. I just love this. Get creative. I like to also make it spicy by adding canned tomatoes with jalapenos. Hope you like it . I do . WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! I don't believe me but my SSS has outdone herself once again! She is really spoiling me rotten! And I'm loving every bit of it! Thanks so much for everything!! First thing I saw when I opened this huge box was a brand new A' La Art catalog! Oh boy, just what I've been wanting for sometime now! And wow! This catalog is about 4 times bigger than the old one I have! Great stuff in it, too, so thanks a lot!! The NEXT thing I see is a box maker!! I mean WOWZA!! I did NOT expect one in this box, maybe next one coz she asked me about it just yesterday! I haven't been able to find one of these anywhere and I gotta tell you, ever since Judy Perry showed me her great boxmaker I've been wanting one like mad! What a big fat and wonderful surprise! I can't WAIT to show it to my stamping buds this 3/28 at my stamp party! oh boy! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Under this was a bunch of little packets, all wrapped up in the most pretty colored clear plastic wrap stuff. I've never seen this before in colors, it's really gorgeous. First thing I pick up is a message taker that has magnets on it to go on the fridge. Perfect! We've been needing something like this and now we have one. So I'll just have to introduce it to my hubby so he'll know where to go for a note when we're not home when he gets home. Think he'll remember? Nope, he doesn't listen to a word I say, but it'll serve him right! Coz there'll be the message waiting for me to show him when i get back! ha! lol I can't wait. Dear SSS, the little pink and blue baskets you sent, ha!!! They're white underneath the colored plastic wrap! kewl. tricked me! I love it! But they're great! They'll make fine additions to my stamp room, I'll definately put them to some very good um's holder use! just what i needed, too. Inside one of these is a bottle of cologne spray. I love cologne, (or perfume, that's what I call *all* of it, even though I know there's a difference....). And since I have really sensitive skin that breaks out in rashes with just about any kinda soap or purfumed anything I can only use the spray stuff to spray it on my clothes and hair, so this is perfect for my needs *and* it has a wonderful scent to it! I was just checking out this very same L'Effleur spray just 2 days ago at Longs thinking to get it later. Is this scarey or what? OK, do you live next door to me? Still inside the same basket is a bar of glycerine soap. Glycerine soap is the only kind of soap *bar* I can use, did you know that already? OK, who are you? Judy Perry??? I'm not kidding, you know too much about me! Who could know that regular soaps make me break out in a bad rash? I mean, even Ivory does! I don't know if I can use the Almond Creme, but I do know I've never met a Glycerine soap I couldn't use so I'm betting I can. I can't wait to try it out! lol Still in the same basket!!, Oh my gosh! Some rubber poet um's!!! I love these! I adore these! I can't wait to use these! I'm in the UTEE swap and have been wondering what of my old boring stamps to use and now I know exactly what to use. Thank you so much for giving me an idea, i was beginning to wonder if I was gonna have to get out of it due to lack of inspiration! oh boy! :) BTW, I really love these designs, I have every single one of these in the large huge sizes, so these will go so perfectly well as playmates with them! Thank you so much! Still in the *same* box! 2 of those square Marvy Matchables ink pads. These are my favorite kinds of inkpads, they're small, compact, easy to store and juicy. I love them, and thank you! Black and red, just what I needed! same box! (am I spoiled or what???) a beautiful book mark with a special penny attached to it. The book mark has this really beautiful poem, "Think of You A Special Angel" on it. Very touching and sentimental. Not very many people give me sentimental things-I'm sure you know why SSS, but actually I love them, so this is really special to me and you have to stop making me cry coz I don't like it. lol The special thing about the penny is the center of the penny has been cut out in the shape of an angel, just like a paper punch cut out to make confetti. awesome. WOW!! There's stilll more! In the next plastic box "thingy" is a "Suncatcher". It's a gold metal cut out of a watering can with flowers in it and a genuine Austrian Crystal dangling from it, gorgeous! This will go up in my stamp room window for everyone to ooooh! and ahhhh! over it on my stamp party day! hehhee Now I gotta tell you that these two gifts, the Suncatcher and the next one are in little shopping bags made out of real shopping bag material. They are the cutest little things I ever saw and I just love them! They're plain ivory colored so that I could decorate them if I wanted to. Where in the world did you find these? So, inside the next bag is the most gorgeous paper I've ever seen and wow! I love it! Bright vibrant colors of pink, green, and gold foils, smooth surface. And another 2 of pink and blue foils with a bubbly rough surface! I just love these, they're gorgeous! WOW! I think these will make great additions to that UTEE swap, don't you? Can't wait to start playing with these two toys! And the tulle that 2 of these are wrapped in will be fun to play with. WOW! Huh? lots a stuff, huh? Far more than I deserve! And there's even MORE! I can't believe how generous you are! You're really spoiling me! There's two 4 oz cans each of Illinois Bronze (color) Webbing Spray *and* Glitter Spray! WOW! I've heard of webbing spray, even though I've never ever tried it, but I've never heard of glitter spray! I can't wait to use these! And you know I'll be doing just that tomorrow coz it's supposed to rain sometime this weekend so I better do it Friday or I might have to wait! hahahahaha I'm still basking in all this generously packaged box you sent, have been ooohing and ahhhing over it all evening ever since it came! Thanks so much, you really made my day! All I could find were lots of boxes of pictures, so I sorted thru them and had a really good time remembering all the things. Had a couple of funny things happen, too. When we were in college I had to take a bunch of action photos for a class, so the day before they are due (natch) I drove around town looking for "action"--ahem!--found some kids playing baseball at a school and took pics. Well, one of the batters (with back to me) looked a lot like my son who played Little League. So this strange kid almost ended up in my scrapbook pile of photos. Only when I found other pics from the class that rang a bell did I look closer and decide it wasn't my kid (the team in the pic was coed!)! LOL! Also, I found a diary I had to keep for a class in college--only kept it about a month, but what a riot to re-read. DH and I were ROFL! Now--this was nearly 20 years ago (uh, I was one of those child prodigies--yeah, that's the ticket!)--on the advice of the teacher, I carefully recorded for posterity our budget for nine months. Rent for 9 months for a 3-bedroom apt was (sit down) $1600!! Not much more than one month of our mortgage!! I also found that that Easter I cooked my first ham not out of a can! ROF about that--DH and I can't remember the last ham in a can I cooked (when I was cooking!)! Also, some pretty hilarious and telling notes about our kids when they were small! BUT, back to the RS stuff--I also found 3 great 9 x 12 cardboard storage boxes--one each color, with attached lids, that I had originally used for school worksheets (when we did worksheets)--they are perfect RS storage boxes! Also--found a wonderful Times magazine special edition that just had all the cover pictures in it from day one. Can't wait to use it for envies, collage, whatever--I know, I should save it, but why? They'll do another one someday. ALSO--discovered a stockpile of old drafting drawings (is that redundant??) that DH did. Great envy material! Never found the 3 photo albums I was looking for, but DH suspects they are up high on a shelf in the family room, but it is behind all my exotic paper and we can't get to it without practically re- arranging the whole room. Well, I have enough material for Saturday, anyway, and we had a nice stroll down memory lane.
