Since I've seen just about every topic under the sun posted here, I'm gonna take a stab at this one...there are SO MANY knowledgeable list members out there! Can you help me with my decision? I need feedback to make an *informed* choice. Next month I'm buy'in a new truck :>) but I want a small one with a small engine. I'm sold on the Toyota Tacoma 4X4, but I only want the small engine, the 4 cylinder vs. the V6. I also want an automatic & I must have air conditioning in my climate. Somebody mentioned to my DH yesterday that I shouldn't even consider buying the 4 cylinder/4X4 if I have to have the AC....something about overtaxing the engine or something and that the V6 would be way better (way more pricey too). Sooooo, anybody out there happen to have one, know someone who does, who can offer some opinions on this subject? I would be incredibly grateful to receive all views. Thanks so much! C. Now if I can properly describe what I learned in a class....you'll have another way to make the project look clean. After you adhere the back piece of the card to the foam core, cut a piece of sticker paper about 3/4" larger on all sides. Put the foam core on the sticky, miter the corners, then fold the sides up. This adheres the sticker paper over the rough cut edges of the foam core. When you place you front piece on it covers the folded up edges. Gives a real professional look. Tan - a terrifying day HI all, I had a most dreadful afternoon and night, I need to tell someone about it all. We had a terrible bush fire burning near our town. It was a very hot day, hottest day in March since they started recording the weather. A vile gusty wind, perfect for fires. (The area I live in had awful fires through many years ago, 50 people died. ) This one today was deliberately lit! Anyway, we were warned to prepare to evacuate, the wind change was going to send it right through our town. So we are rushing around, what do you take? You know it is all insured, but so many things are irreplaceable. Then my DH, and I do mean darling, says "Don't worry we will find room for your stamps." (I have a four drawer unit on wheels, that he calls R2D2.) Thank goodness, we were all ok in the end, the wind shifted and they got it under control. Our house is on the highway, and after hours of watching trucks of volunteer firefighters, some from so far away zoom by, I was in a state as you can imagine. Two little towns suffered lots of damage, we are waiting to hear if a friend has lost his home. Lots of cattle and sheep, and wildlife, the kangaroos and koalas always suffer. Sorry this has been so long - my hands are shaking as I key in the words! I needed to tell someone, thanks for letting me express this. (and there have been many - who .. I'm glad to say lived to ripe old ages before passing on). Before Buddy .. we always had small dogs (under 20 lbs). At 2 years old - Buddy Freddy weighs in at 85 lbs !!! My best advice to you is to take Quincy to your nearest PetsMart or equivalent - or any good basic dog obedience class. Its a lot of fun for both you and your dog. I highly recommend PetsMart if there's one nearby. They welcome pets inside the store and my dog just loves to go there! We also "crate trained" buddy. I'm not sure if its too late at 2 years old for that, but you could ask the trainers if you do enroll in the obedience class. He follows you because he's a little insecure right now. Just give him lots of love and praise him a lot when he's good and does what you ask him to do. That kind of positive reinforcement goes a long way. Never Yell at him. Just a stern tone and your body language will let him know when your're displeased. All a dog want to do is please his "person". Just love him lots, go to a class - lots of fun, and you will have a friend for life! The only stipulation is that the products are handstamped. Some companies require that you write and ask permission and some require that you acknowledge which company was used to make the item. There is an excellent site for finding a list of angel companies. Here's the link: Dragonhome's Stamping Pages Hope this helps! You can send it whereever you like from there -- your printer, your disk drive, through email to a friend. But it is only an image file. You can't edit the text you see because the computer doesn't see the letters, it sees millions of ON-and-OFF dots. You can, however, edit the image in a graphics arts program such as Photoshop. My dealers that are advanced sufficiently to submit their work by email will scan the artwork and email it to me. I will then make what adjustments may be needed before producing their stamps or seals. There is OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software that can try to convert those millions of dots into text but the accuracy is only about 95%. That means that one out of every 20 characters will be wrong. Finding and editing these can take more time than just typing it all in again.
