I don't remember many names as I'd just come from teaching my class to find a whole booth full of people. I don't know which were list members and which were customers, but I hope I managed to give each list member my little gift. Hope not too many of you saw the clumsy fall I had on those stairs--it happened three times that day. What a klutz! If I missed you, let me know. In fact, I have one for everyone on the list if you'll mail me a SASE with 55 cents postage. What they are are sleeves made out of Tyvex (is that the right word) They stamp up beautifully with regular dye inkpads. They're to keep all those plastic trash sacks in neatly in your kitchen.....or hubby's socks if they're all the same--you just fill it from the top opening and pull them out the bottom. If you've never tried HALOS and want a sample, just add $3 to $5 and I'll give you a generous sampling. Lori B. was right....the show was so busy, we didn't even get to look around much either. I did see something really exciting in the Stamp Oasis booth....will try to describe later. Thanks Joseph for the birthday cupcakes. He made them from scratch! They were delicious and fortified us while we took the booth down and even had some left to eat on the drive home. Ashley got a little jealous of Joseph and all his pins.....and the fact that he bakes from scratch didn't help much. She got kinda tired of hearing me say "Joseph this and Joseph that". What a stinker she is. She actually kept her angel dress on the whole day--usually it's off after an hour. That's how long she lasted with her halo and wings this time. We finally let her run the cash register near the end of the day--her greatest desire, and people were very patient with her. Melissa had a bad experience with one lady at the show beginning because she misunderstood our pricing sign, but fortunately we gave the lady her way immediately (she got a bargain). An unpleasant customer like that can sure break a child's spirit....and an adults for that matter. Luckily, they are few and far between and the majority of people were so kind. We had a wonderful trip.....car didn't break down, Gary's back cooperated, gas was cheap, the kids each had their own seat and got along better than usual. We stayed two nights with relatives and saved hotel costs. We stayed one night at the Residence Inn, but at $100 a night, it was a bit pricey for the little bit of time spent there. It used to be a lot less $$$. If I met you at the convention, please let me know...I have no idea who I met. Sorry we couldn't make the dinner....how many came and was the food good? My RubberBaby, Linda Yamakido, called me, (all the way across the country!!!) to ask me to let everyone know that her DH (sweet man) BROKE their PC yesterday. If she is in your SWAP, PLEASE contact me to get info for/from her. I know, for sure, that she needs to contact DebbieD237, Angelhrt, and anno. Anyone else, she wasn't sure.
