Today I received a package from Barbara of Creative Images, and I know I havent ordered from her YET!!! This is so confusing, cause I have already received Evo's catalog last week and know some things are on the way from her. Barbara made a dragon card telling me my SS is thinking of me and has put together a brilliant package. I got a gorgeous marbled envy containing a decoupaged heart magnet, a bag fill of heart confetti, and a smaller envy fill of the most beautiful victorian postoids. Also included is the pattern for making this envy...just perfect for storing stamps, postoids or little things. I also received 4 large ums, a dragon, a fairy, a toadstool with frog & butterfly, and a large bird. Barbara whose stamps are these? are they your own designs? This is my style of fairy...I love them. Then the rest of the global envy was of many differant full sheets of card, lovely textures and colours. And some angel envys which I just have to get more of for the Angel Flight swap...Barbara I need to talk to you, please tell me you take visa. Thanks heaps to my great SS for organising this, YOU are the BEST!!! I got a baggie full of fun things for layering and collages, buttons, ribbons, little appliques, cancelled stamps, flower, , a stamped cow, some stretchy white stuff, a piece of green thingy, cardboard shapes, a heart (I think out of shelf material) colored(?), some crack=n peel, never had any of this, some envy's, some unusual background paper and then I recived a bag labeled Gourmet craft and collage material. I haven't opemed it yet, but it says handmade papers, unique textiles, recycled papers and natural fibers. I received a nice card from her with a kitten , flowers, fence and the sun all stamped on a brayered card. She says she is a newbie, but boy I can't brayer that nice. I wish I could start playing but I am leaving wed. for Oregon for a 10 day vacation. Thank you very much SS. This was a fun package. I wonder if we are going to the same convention. There was a sticker on it "Deliver to addressee without contents" It was made from a magazine page and looks like an ariel view of a forest or els a rolling meadow. There's an uncancelled 55¢ stamp on it. The envelope front was wrapped in one of those PO envys from the Milwaukee processing and distribution center, apologizing for the damage. I have no way of knowing who or where it was from or what was in it. If you recognize this envy part, please let me know. I would thank you for whatever was in the envy if I knew what it was. At the very least, I thank you for the unused 55¢ stamp. --`--,--{@ Patti in Fort Myers, FL @}--`--,-- Computers are life. Rubberstamping is art. They are the Happy Rubber Stamps swap. And oh, so elegant, every one. Tupperstamepr used a craft colored speckled cardstock. She stamped a lovely sunflower a couple of tiems and cut them out perfectly and mounted them on another piece of the same cardstock that used a plaid stamp for background. There's a goldenrod border around the edge. and in the corner a raffia bow with a dark button and a yellow button on top. Terri Bradbury stamped a lovely purple posey all over the right front of her white card and a similar posey on a vine in greyish purple from top to bottom on the left side. The word "Congratulations" in the center also in purple. Elaine Fellows stamped with a tiny plaidish allover stamped background on an ivory card and overlaid with vellum. The corners are rounded and there is a little posey white embossed in each corner of the vellum and two larger poseys embossed in the center. The poseys are colored yellow with green leaves and brown centers with glitter. Cheryl started with an oatmeal card with right opening which is trimmed with some great scissors (dragonback?) Along the edge of the inside of the card she glued a strip of grey speckled stock so it shows when the card is closed. And she cut out a triangle of the same grey and glued it to the front of the card with the same trimmers from top left to bottom right. And in the center is a beautiful string of red peppers embossed in gold and cut out, mounted in the center of the front of the card. These beautiful cards make my effort seem so very so so. And of course, there is the neato die from Ginny. I don't know if we all got the same one or not. The one I got is the words "I LOVE YOU" in her new alphabet. Thank you all and thank you Ginny. Especially thanks to Lisa Sim (Tupperstamper) for being hostess. Oh yes, Lisa sent back 2 23¢ stamps which was a surprise to me. Thanks for that too. --`--,--{@ Patti in Fort Myers, FL @}--`--,-- Computers are life. Rubberstamping is art.
