Now I need to fill it up with lots of markers. The Halos system is wonderful, Barbara. Thanks for offering that $5 grab bag to try it out. Now that I've got the set, it's fabulous and the Kai scissors so nice and sharp. Chris, got the PSX stamps today. Wow, that was very fast, and thanks for the free goodies you included. I got the Chase Petroglyph with brown ink. I love it!!! Can't believe I haven't used one of these before. I think I am on my way to starting a new kind of stamp collection!!! VBG One question though, how do you all store your Rollagraph supplies? I put the ink in a small ziploc-type baggie and am keeping the wheel index strip around the wheel so I can keep track after I start getting more wheels. Boy is it great!!! The first thing I saw in the box was a dozen plastic eggs. Inside each was a small baggie of Embossing Powder. This is fun. I have 43 different shades of EP already and none of the colors sent in the package were colors I already had!!! My SS is amazing! On the top of the package was also a great looking card. It was made with a copper colored page insert so it looked like a book. The binding was done with a stick wrapped in thin gold wire, with the stick held in place with a rubber band. The image was offset in a lower corner. There was a stamped fairyhidden in the leaves of a tree. This was layered on a wavy gold textured cardstock. The layered image was placed in a window cut into the cover of the card/book. The window was edged with a beautiful gold marble foil. In 2 corners of the window, are a single leaf stamped on dark blue-green cardstock and foiled with the same foil used on the window border. This card is truly a work of art!!! Thank you for sharing your great talent with me. Also in the package was a baggie of unmounted stamps. These look like alot of fun. Now I have to really get busy mounting them. (Along with the 6 grab bags of unmounteds I got at Carson!) Next were some items I have never worked with or seen before. These will be fun to experiment with: Embossing tiles, a bottle of Lilac Perfect fx and a bottle of Maise Perfect fx. Also there is a package of 7 thin acrylic pieces of various sizes each having beveled edges. Art these to stamp & emboss on??? Lastly, there was a item I really am embarrased to say I have no clue what it is or what it is used for. It is a piece of acrylic about 1/4" thick. It is about half the size of a recipe card. Attached to it is a much thinner piece of acrylic that is in a "L" shape . Turned sideways, it looks like abit like the letter "C". If someone could let me know what this is, please do. My son says it looks like a large business card holder when it is laid down on one side. Thanks for the wonderful package you have sent. I am always inspired by the packages you send. I love trying out new things and learning new techniques. Your packages have really helped me in that way. We tried this a work last spring, only additional ingredient was 1 package of your favorite Knorr soup, and we didn't have the ginger or garlic. Everyone lost at least 10 lbs over a 4 week period (average is 3-5lbs/wk). By the end of the month, we didn't think we could ever eat that soup again (lol), but surprisingly most of us kept off at least 10lbs. We started again this past Sunday. My occupation is: Formerly an Elem.Ed tcher, I now work in Prof. Lrng and Communications at LLB I collect stamps/images of: flowers, animals, bears, cute/funnies, birds, angels My latest and greatest stamping discovery was: this list! and using glue to adhere ep to get a nifty texture. I really don't like these kinds/styles of stamps/stamping: I first discovered rubber stamping: at Micheal's and took an intro class - hooked immediately Delete any of the following statements which are not true for you. Add any others I've forgotten which ARE true for you. Change the wording of any of these to make them more true for you. Keep each answer separated by a blank line for easier reading. I emboss my stamping sometimes. I like to buy mass quantities of unusual paper. I like to buy embossing powders and inks. I love word sayings and text stamps. I love teddy bears and sheep and country cute stamps. I love angel, nature(critters), birds, celestial stamps I love stamps of assorted characters When people see my cards they say "Wow! That's cute!" When people see my cards they say "Wow! That's beautiful!" When people see my cards they say "Whoa! How did you DO that??" I cook embossing powder more often than food. I am a computer whiz. I am an internet guru. I have never participated in a swap before. Just signed up for one I'd like to sign up for every swap I see. Continue the story time: (you might want to put your fill-in-the-blank info in quotation marks or parens so we can tell which is the form, and which is you speaking! The other day I was fixing to "stamp" when I discovered "someone had taken all my stamps" and decided to change my plans. In fact, this discovery was so "shocking" I jumped in the "buggy" and headed for the stamp store. As I walked in the door, the owner said "You can't come in here Jesta, no fools allowed!" Nonetheless, I went ahead and picked out "50 new stamps" and marched right up to the cash register, where I proceeded to "search my purse for the credit card and a piece of sugarless gum". On the way home to my "mansion", I stopped off at "my therapists" and did my usual "search for the meaning of life" . Which only goes to prove "that my theory is true and", reflects my life's philosophy of "stamping is cheaper than therapy!"
