This was a great swap. Thanks to all for your hard work. From Phyllis - a wonderful black card with very pretty fabric layered on top and three sand dollars layered on the top of that. The sand dollars are also on black and are embossed. Inside is a "poem" called Treasure time (really made me think) and a the legend of the sand dollar. From Karen - pastel cardstock with a yellow and white ginham print layered on top at an angle. On top of that is another thin piece of paper and then the sunflower stamp on top. Very cute! From Gloria - Very pretty card on burgundy cardstock with off white card stock on top. She used the stamp that you can use kind of like a window and it comes with different sentiments. The frame has flower around it. She used the Happy Birthday saying. There is a bow in the corner in burgundy. I think she used Beedz on one of the flowers. This card is very elegant. From Elaine - cute card with the teddy bear holding a heart in front of him. Kind of a dark tan card with three small pieces of paper with different patterns on each layered on top of the card and then the teddy bear is layered on top of that. There is a Love (paper punch) in the corner with pink paper underneath it. The corners of the card are rounded. I really liked the color of the card and the patterned papers on top. From Raquel - Cute card on tan paper with the bee set. The beehive is stamped on white cardstock and layered on the tan cardstock and there are three bees on top. I love this set! Could it have been the boring "performance" pieces???). I did enjoy seeing all of the best actor/actresses up on stage together. I thought that Cher looked like a walking mushroom ("Fantasia" anyone?)....It would've been nice if they had done that with best director too but you can't expect too much from a committee that never even gave Orson Welles ANYTHING! I was also surprised that this was Robin Williams' first award. I think that they should re-name the part of the show when they show clips of those that have passed on to "What?!?! I didn't know that he/she died!" I also think that they should have had a longer tribute to Jimmy Stewart! For crying out loud, Chris Farley's clips were longer than his! Danny Elfman should win something....um, what else? I think that the animation award part of the show (along with the independent awards) should be given a little bit more respect than they receive...I think that the performance parts of the show are boring and that Billy Crystal shouldn't have to read the lines off of the cue cards that he can be funny (at times) on his own...Robin Williams should host...anyone but David Letterman! Oh and Helen Hunt looked like she was wrapped in a tube-ack! The show was worth watching just to see Jeremy Irons and Sean Connery onstage together... I'm off to my own la-la (dream) land!
