Nothing wrong with the 660C ('C' is for Color printer). You know how we women often are, just like *new* stuff! Anyway, I'd purchased the 660C in Oct. '95 (paid $399 for it back then!), so I used it for less than 2.5 years. I had just replaced the color ink cartridge 2 wks before I bought my new printer. (The black ink cartridge is six months old.) I am asking $125 and this will *include* shipping (which I expect to be $20-$25!). Also, remember that it has an almost-brand-new (*hardly used* in those 2 wks) color ink cartridge which had cost me $30 . . . so it's really like getting the printer itself for only $95! So-o-o, how about it? Who wants to buy a great color printer at a great price? I'll be standing by, waiting for your e-mail. Since everyone has been wanting one of these I found one at my fav-o-rite store today. All the way up here in Canada!!! (Western Education in Edmonton, AB) It has some wonder-ful ideas and stamp designs that are a *must have*. :) Am I the first to have a copy? (That I can brag :) I have it) As always, Melanie The RubberNut This message was from "Melanie Wortman" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. I called the 800# that was posted earlier this week and spoke with the folks at Nasco. The girl I spoke with didn't know what I was talking about when I said circle cutter. She asked me if I had an item # (which I didn't), then she said the only thing they had was a tool to cut out clock faces but it isn't for paper. I really want to find out more about a perfect circle cutter - - - and if there is such a thing, a perfect oval cutter. I remember reading the post and it said this Nasco circle cutter was about $10,vs. $24 for the 'name brand' TIA - I'd like to know more about these things! Nicki B. Looks like Pavarotti singing. Using the music as background was good idea. Will put a card in the mail to you tomorrow. I mailed out 35 cccc cards today. Some are a Garth cat & for those who have already received him will be getting Kramer the cat. Both of these stamps are from Tejas in TX. Thanks Kathy for the cute card. Subject: Re: RS: RE: RS Question about Hot Exacto Oh yes - it's a special X-acto knife! Sells for around $20 retail and it's worth every penny! Cuts through that foam board like it's not even there! However, you MUST be careful 'cause that sucker really does get hot - makes the Milwaukee gun look like a wimp! There is NO WAY I'd consider making a shaker card without this neato little gadget! The "OLD" RAK Keeper has been RAK'd again! It was a loooong day for me and what a joy to find a handmade stamped RAK card in my mailbox! I've been off the list for several weeks now (I really do miss all the rubber chatter) but I'm tooooo busy getting ready for the big move to N.C. Being off the list also means I've not been receiving many rubber stamped cards, so Melanie's was very much appreciated. Melanie's card was sea green cs topped with dark green cs which had the corners cut and punched with those neat corner punches. Looks like she used the (almost hate to use the word, as I know what it does to this list Ü ) "Blitzer" to blitz on some gold, then layered with foam tape two girls holding a red heart between them. Really cute, and "cute" IS ok, I like cute! Inside was a handwritten RAK note. Thanks sooooo much Melanie, Dianna _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. I loved this card. She embossed some hearts in black and then used glitter glue pens to fill in some of the hearts. For the other hearts she used beautiful colored foil on the front of a half folded cs. This came out great. Then she also stamped on the front of the card "the little things mean so much. Inside she wrote a personal message. She also sent me some goodies. Three packages of foil. I am in heaven. These foils are so pretty. Especially the aqua color foil and the rainbow colored foil - well I just loved them all. Thanks Cyndi for being so thoughtful and kind. You certainly made my day.
