Of course its much easier to use one, but you are not stuck without one. Try using an iron, heated to medium high. Hold your paper with the embossing powder up to the iron. Use an unsharpened pencil or a chopstick to gently push the embossed part against the iron. Practice a bit first, so you know how long to hold it before the paper scorches but the ep hardens. I did this for 6 months before I finally gave in and got a heat gun. YOu'll want one, I promise you, but you can get started embossing now... LINDA. . . Susan was absolutely in awe of the incredible fish card that you sent her. . . and asked me to thank you very much This card had three fish on it. . . which was on a wonderful blue background that Linda had made. . . this was on a silver metallic paper and had wonderful glitter bubbles floating to the top of the card. . . inside it said, 'Ever had one of those days?' Susan really laughed at that and said. . . y y y e e e s s s s s s s ! She asked me to thank you very much. . . and I add my thanks to Susan's. This was such a thoughtful RAK and made me feel so proud to be part of this family. You are all so wonderful and caring. She's now home and they have her in a wheelchari. . . so she is at least able to sit up. . . Lyle is going over to her house to install one of those shower heads that you can move around so that hopefully we can get her able to have showers. . . so far all she has been able to have is sponge baths so she is quite eager to try this out. . . this is her big goal for next week. I have her book of giggles ready for the next time she goes in the hospital and thank you all very much for all the incredible funny offerings that you sent love n huge hugs b2 This message was from "Crafty bonnie 2" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum.
