Personally, in my own *opinion* ... AND, this is not to pass judgement on anyone who would use a "Recycled by ________" stamp on another's card. I wouldn't use such a stamp on a card created by another stamper .... for a these reasons: 1. The *creator* of the card likely never envisioned me sticking another stamped image on it - and I don't think I'd have any business doing that - adding to or deleting from the art of another stamper would be real tacky. 2. "Recycled by __________ " - geez, what business would I have adding my Judy-John-Henry to someone else's creation, just because it came to me in a swap?? I think if I played in the swap, the cards that come to me are mine to do with as I please, but not to add my name to someone else's work. If I was going to actually *use* a card from a swap, I'd send a long a note saying it came to me from ______, that it is a piece of original stamp art, etc. 3. I'm a great believer in "recycling" - I turn envelopes inside out and I use the cardboard from cereal boxes, etc .... but I don't think stamp art, when passed on to another is "recycled" ... it's more like sharing the gift of art. 4. I also don't think I'd have any business cutting up someone else's work ... and using components therefrom in my own stamp art. (I know that's not what the original post was about ... but if we start putting extra stamped images on the cards of others .... what's next??) Ant Judy H. Remember that the postmark due date is April 1! That's tomorrow! BUT--if you need a few days, that's fine because Jodi and I are in the middle of getting ready for a booth in a local crafter's mall, then we're taking a week in Florida. So, I won't get to sorting the swap until 4/14. As long as the cards are in my grimy fists by then, I don't really care when they're postmarked!
