Actually it is very easy. She started with a base metallic and embossed with a powder (she used the new Judikins malachite powder for what I saw), The trick is to keep it hot, then put the powder on again, heat again, add more powder, heat add more powder. It is hard to do this over a space of much more than 3 x 3 or 4 x 4. On the last coat, as soon as you heat, stamp it with a pattern stamp. You can do it plain, or inked up with a contrasting ink. Mary Jo really reccomends experimenting to get the colors, etc. that you like. On one or two demos she used different kinds of powder, two or more on the same piece. Hope this makes any sense. YES! YES! This happens to me all the time! Well, not ALL the time. Not nearly often enough. But I dream a lot of ideas. Some of them work. Some of them don't. But I get these visions all the time. I don't always capture them well. Or at all. I think the trick is to jump up and get it down on paper right then. I'm always hesitant to leave my warm bed and promise myself "this is so good you will remember it in the morning" and then I never do. I think it is some sort of third dimension communication somehow. At least some of the times. Sometimes it's just the chili I ate for supper. But I've had too many experiences where I've jumped up and captured what seemed so real in a dream, then sent it to whoever was also involved in the dream and it's done special things to them. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts if you sent this pin to your sister, she'd get some sort of strong sense of deja vu. She might even remember more than that. I think there's a connection there. Then again, I believe in UFOs, psychic communication and waltzing the astral plane, too. ========================================================================= Janet Detter Margul | Real women don't have hot flashes...
