I blabbed off my mouth about dinner plans without looking at my class schedule. So, here's the scoupe. My last class saturday is at 6:30 pm. This means we could: a) eat at 5pm, and those having classes would just have to woof down their food (ok by me) or b) party REALLY late, like 8:30pm. The restaurant I have chosen is Cookers, which is just down the road from the convention hotel. (it's like an Applebees, i'm told). Since i'm an INFP, either of those options works for me. As for transport, we could meet at the front desk, and carpool to the restaurant. RSVP ASAP as to your preference on chow time. I need to call Cookers and make reservations. mars mannix PS: i'd also like to have a count, so i can bring enough toys. Please bear with me. I have a night class on Mondays and Wednesday nights and don't get home until 9:15-9:30pm. Usually I need to put Naomi to bed and then crash myself around 10. I get up at 5:30 am and am out the door at 6:15 am. This last weekend I had hoped to be able to get online and get my mail but that didn't happen. I was physically busier this weekend than I was last week and am still paying for it today. I will try to at least download the mail this afternoon before my new bed is delivered, but I'm not making any promises on quick replies. If you need to get ahold of me urgently, please contact me at: edwardvl@scholar.tacoma.ctc.edu and I can check that mail at least in the mornings before my first class. As to the directory pages, I'm working on it. Again, please bear with me during this time of adjustment to the new schedule. Hopefully, by this weekend on the 11th, I will be able to get caught up. I am sure there are more than 2,000 messages and then some in my e-mail box. I tried to access Foxinternet e-mail account at the college, but they use netscape and nothing shows up on my e-mail account in netscape. I will have to use my Microsoft Explorer at home. Just so I don't have to type the same thing many times, let me tell you again that the orders from last month's catalog will ship Saturday or Monday, depending on when the companies come through with the orders. Both companies had BIG orders to fill, so we need to give them time to get the stamps to us. BUT, they go out the day after they get to me, Lord willin' and the creek don't rise. So, I will post again when the packages ship to you. And I know it's strange getting the new catalog before you get the last order. I know it can make you nervous that you won't get it, but trust me (I know, you've heard that one before) that they stamps will get to you soon. Would you rather the catalogs go out every 5 weeks so you can get the stamps before the next catalog? This is a real question, as we are contemplating moving the catalogs out 5 weeks instead of 4 weeks just to ocrrect this problem. So please give your feedback to this one so you can help us. thanks! I had a terrific couple of mail days! First, yesterday I got my templates from Evo! Can't wait to play with these. I see ALL kinds of things I can do here! Second, my door prize for the Spring Fling arrived! Sticky foam mount and wood! So perfect, because yesterday I bought a bunch of postage UMs! Next, I got RAK'd by the AgapeStamper, Linda Israel.... a darling card with a teapot made of wallpaper that had a tea bag in it! Plus some wall paper samples! Then, a card from Linda Morrison.... glossy cardstock brayered with purple ink with a lace design and a Thinking of You sentiment on the front! I also got the patterns from Linda Strawn (can't WAIT to try some of this stuff) as well as an order from Treegiving@aol.com that contained a bunch of cardstock! (Call me the cardstock queen.....) I have a feeling I've left something/someone out.... Just can't figure out who or what.... :) My next task: to figure out how to stamp and cross examine at the same time, so I can continue to work to feed this addiction :) Serene This message was from SereneGirl - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Here is the info file: A new mailing list is forming for Kitsap Peninsula residents and those interested in life on the peninsula. Kitsap Life is a mailing list for discussing our way of life on the Kitsap Peninsula of western Washington state. We believe that our environment and way of life may be the best in the United States but are always looking for ways to get more from it. Example topics may include recreation, entertainment, and shopping, real estate, homes for sale or rent. While this is a non-commercial list, reasonable numbers of advertising messages from list members will be permitted with the understanding that the offers will pertain to current or potential Kitsap residents. Examples of such ads may be homes for sale and job opportunities. To subscribe, mailto:kitsaplife-request@Mail-List.net. In the body of the message write: subscribe and you're in.
