Walmart discounted most of the stamps that they carry, mainly Stamp Affair. I bought about one of everything they had and did not pay more than $2.00 for any stamp. They also discounted stamping supplies. I purchased note cards, sticker paper, embossing powder, and pigment cubes for .25 to .75 each. Since I travel a lot for my job I have been to every Walmart in the Northern part of the state. Cloth World here has a discounted a large selection of Rubberstampede, Posh Impressions and other stamps. These are the large stamps ranging from $6.99 to $10.99. The most I paid for a single stamp is $4.79. Many Comotion stamps were marked down to 74 cents. I purchased about 30 stamps in the last two weeks. If you do not have a Cloth World in your area or if Walmart has not discounted their stamping stuff let me know and I will be happy to go shopping for you. Or didn't receive yours? Hi! I was told that an address fell off a card I send out. She received the card w/o the address attached but said even out of 350,000 people she got the letter!(but no butterfly) She said the post office must know her and the kind of mail she gets! I made address's on the computer, some where on sticky backed paper. I guess they didn't stick enough. SO If I told you I'd send you one and you haven't received it, OR you want one please send your address to me. I have lots made up and ready to go.... w/o the sticky paper labels!!!! It makes me happy you all like them!!! JOY :>) This message was from "Joy (aka luv2stmp)" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Thanks so much Suki. From Suki: on Medium brown cardstock a layered picture of a lady lying in a moonlit field with wolves all around her. How in the world did you get that effect and all those shades? From Lisa Howard: An amazing swap that I'll not do justice to as I don't know exactly what it is. It's a circle made of a material unknown to me--sort of looks like sand but it's beautiful. On it she's put a wolf stamped on cork and a pawprint stamped on some really glossy substance and tied with a cord (if I had any brains I'd wait until I see this described by someone else and then I could chime in too and not look so stupid. I'm sorry Lisa, but I'm still pretty new to stamping and cards are all I've been able to accomplish so far. And since I live in a stamp deprived area, I've not seen many of the things that I see described on the list. Whatever this is, probably everyone else but me would recognize immediately. But even if I can't explain it, I DO know it's beautiful. Thanks so much. From Lacey: The Commotion wolf stamped in bronze. The moon is bright yellow and I think she's used Crystal Laquer to outline it. The cardstock is turquoise and she's colored the border around him in turquoise also. There's a layer of maroon mulberry paper behind him and she's tied it all together with a maroon raffia bow. Very eyecatching. Thanks Lacey. From Bonnie Garbey: The Commotion wolf stamped in black with the big yellow moon. She's glittered the stars. This is a layered card on medium brown stock, layered with a light brown mulberry paper. Thanks Bonnie for a very attractive card. From Angelhart: Wow! Can't believe my luck in being one of the ones to receive her beautiful card. I couldn't believe it when I started counting the stamps on this...she's used SEVEN (that's right--SEVEN) stamps on it. She's taken the Wildlife Enterprises wolf and put him with a bunch of Stampscape stamps to form a totally beautiful card! He's got snow tipped mountains behind him, he's standing on a ledge baying at a quarter moon. There's no way I can describe this card and do it justice--all I can say is if anyone ever tries to get it away from me, I'll rip their fingers off. The only thing about getting a card like this is it's sort of discouraging to a stamper like me who has minimal talent---I'll NEVER reach her abilities. But that's ok...I'll just hope that I manage to get in LOTS of swaps with her. Thanks everyone for swapping with me Elise This message was from YFAD36A@prodigy.com (MRS ELISE A GORTH) - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum.
