Long orders, swaps, raks WOW Hi all, What a mail day! PO had so much they put those cards in the mail box for packages and they had a bundle of mail with rubberbands around it to keep it all together. First there is one card that was a RAK but I don't know who sent it...PO machines got nasty and cut the envy in half and I only got the top half of the card in one of those plastic jobs. So if you sent me a RAK and I have not responded that's why and I do apologize. I received my labels from Petie and Giggles. Don they are perfect. I know I'll be ordering more soon. Received Evo's Templates! These are neat. I'm gonna play today! Bunny Card Swap WOW So much talent. Belinda Muench do a real pretty pastel green card with dancing bunnies on pastel jelly bean oval that was perfectly cut using fancy scissors. Boy do I need practice at that fete! Pretty pastel ribbons was attached at the top and what appears to be vinyl eggs and bunnies at the bottom of the card. Very pretty card. Ruth tvlady also used pretty pastel green. has a carrot seed packet attached with a mounted smiling bunny holding a "carrot" Oh this is so adorable. The bunny has one of those mischevious grins. I love it. Teresa Holt Has a sunny yellow card that is layered with adorable easter paper that has eggs and chicks on it. Mounted in the corner is a momma bunny The shading is wonderful. Patti Murhpy made on white matte an egg border and butterflies and a momma bunny carrying an egg basket with the cutest smallest eggs I've ever seen. Plus she some how 3-d the basket. WOW! Frances Brimmer did a card on white matte that is cut so that the front is smaller then the back on the back is an egg border and the front has a lopped ear bunny, they are so adorable, and an easter basket with eggs in it. Thanks for all the great cards and ideas. I love swaps. I learn so much from them. Eileen deMars sent me the cake directions and some others too. Boy oh boy all the possibilities!!!! I received cards from my nsg3 swap group and will post to them. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got a SHAKER CARD!!!!! RAK Leilani Schooling sent me a sharker card and I'm doing a one leg happy dance. This is my first see of a shaker card. Oh boy! Now maybe I'll get out that foam board and try one...been chicken! On light green she has layered fancy edged tanish paper with floral names stamped on it then the foam board with seeds inside the window. The frame is flowers post and a watering can and flowers. IMHO talk about different colors of "oak tag" is like talk about white bunnies. If the origin of terms aren't known, the terms get mis-used. This is Jennifer, we are ok down here, but a lot of surrounding towns and the post are torn apart. It was lucky for all of the guys that went to pt that they sent them home at about 6:20. Kevin got home about 6:30 and I was terrified. THe lightning was something else. The flashes never stopped. I didn't hear the tornado, but I have heard people talking about it. The bleacher from a marching field are wrapped around a tree and the top of the carwash in sitting int he Generals front yard!!! My hubby tried to get back on post at nine, we hadn't heard anythingm so we assumes it was a normal work day and he came hoe about tem minutes later and he said they won't let anybody on post, there was a tornado. It ripped through a couple of motor pools and there are trees laying everywhere. The post doesn't have much electricity. The finance building is gone and so are a few others. I don't know about the condition of the commi8sary or the px. One guy died when it ripped through the National GUard barracks. We are fine and appreciate the concern:-))) Happy stamping, Jennifer the perkystamper _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Rachel, Here's one of my asparagus favorites: Put a small am't of olive oil or margarine in a skillet. Add a minced garlic clove and about 4-5 Tablespoons of soy sauce. Heat it on med. heat. Clean the asparagus, and cut into about 2 inch pieces. Toss it in the skillet, and saute it until it is crispy-tender. (Only takes about 3-5 minutes depending on how much asparagus you have: it will turn BRIGHT green when it's done) Delicious and Easy :) I have other recipes for asparagus if this doesn't suit your fancy. Let me know :) I live in an area which is the second largest asparagus producing area in the nation :) And, if you have EVER had asparagus RIGHT from the field, you will NEVER eat another vegetable :) Serene This message was from SereneGirl - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Use ... nail polish remover or Skin So Soft by Avon or Glycerin or Embossing Ink My preference is glycerin ... try rubbing a few drops on the blade of your scissors before cutting gunky stuff - keeps it from sticking, and if a little does .. it will be easier to clean.
