I love all of these cards. This is the kind of stamping I like to do best and it was so fun to see the ways other interpret what 'scenic' means. From Oakeymc@ohio.net -- A winter scene stamped on what I called dappled blue stock. There is a farm scene in the background, groves of pines and a skating snowman in the front. The images are colored with pencils. The scene is balanced with the snowman the clear focal point. It is a fun card but quick realistic given the snowman image. Thank you so much. Unknown -- Fir trees in front of a mountain range with great sky in the background. It is watercolored? The firs are stamped using the several stamps with one inking technique to give depth to the scene. An envelope was enclosed with this card as a very nice extra. Again, a pretty card and thanks so much. From Sandra Hampson -- Great frogs sitting on the edge os a stream. The steam has lilies and reeds and a great bank. It was stamped on glossy cardstock and then mounted on matching pale green card stock. There is glitter on the stream. I really appreciate the use of glitter. I'm not very good with glitter and when I recently went to a convention I saw it used in scenes a lot. I bought some of the glitter and really appreciate the example of how to use it right in front of me. I like this card a lot and thank you. From Kim Albert. A duck stamped on vellum and embossed with sparkling glitter. There is a group of winter trees in the back ground. All of this is mounted over cardstock brayered with green to purple colored pad. It is tied with a purple ribbon. The card is very attractive and not something that have thought of doing. I really like this card and am going to try the technique. Thank you Kim. From Linda Case. This is a wonderful card all stamped with Stampendous stamps. It uses the two houses, and the church on a long card. Children are mounted in the paths. The coloring here is wonderful. I think it is watercolor pencils but I'm not sure. Thank you so much. I really enjoyed this swap. Erna - She used the VLVS stampes and sayings. Love the booger! Lil'Inker - She used a background stamp that is stamping supplies. Then added an angel staping, postiod and a saying. Cute! Received the wonderful fudge (all gone) and the card with the Sticker. It is adorable. Thanks so much. Everyone Giggles sent me her "World Famous Peanut Buttter Fudge" and a card with the Suzy Zoo sticker on it. I want some of these it is too cute for words. Petie has an ad for these I think and they are great. I also got my stickers and need more of them too. Thanks for everything Giggles and Petie too! The note says new to BLC, but I'm sure not new to rubberstamping. The layout & coloring is beautiful! Why can't my cards look so good.? Outdoor scene of 2 bears sitting on a stump with their backpacks. Also has a tree beside them & grass & flowers. Lt. blue sky with clouds probably stenciled. Two bluebirds are cutout & 3-d'ed----love this!. On green cardstock with another layer of lighter green---looks like handmade paper. Very pretty. I will be showing to my stamping buddies. Thanks so much for this great card. Charley This message was from Shealybird - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Just wanted to make certain that everyone understood certain things: First of all, if you are a mfg., make sure your trash is on YOUR property until it is disposed of. It is not protected by the law in any fashion unless that is the case, and even then it is questionable. Second, if you are a dumpster diver, make sure the property is completely abandoned so you *don't* hear your Miranda rights! If you ask me, spending a little bit of effort to go in and ASK the mfg. usually defeats a lot of effort and expense later. I certainly wasn't advocating anything different.
