I got it on Saturday and my mom and sister were here visiting. My sister is a newbie to stamping too and we all just loved your card. You have to tell me how you made it. The envelope was stamped with the bottom half of a man riding a bike and it says "pedal post" The card looks like a stained glass window. The design is of deep purple grapes on a lavender card. My favorite color is purple and this card is just gorgious. Linda "giggles" Skirvin :) Thanks so much for the sweet card. I've never seen a completely clear envelope before. That's super neat :) Now is the stamp on the front just ONE stamp ?? Or did you use several different stamps to make the "scene" ?? The picture looks like a garden type scene with a a birdhouse to one side of a brick doorway. There are flower pots down in front and bushes to both sides. There is a suzy zoo "sticker" with suzy holding a purple basket full of flowers. Until I turned the card sideways, I didn't know that she was a sticker. I thought she was all part of the stamp :) Then looking through the doorway, there is a see through gate and you can see flowers and bushes on the other side. It's matted on a light seafoam greenish colored card. Thanks so much Linda. It's a very beautiful card and I really appreciate your kindness. Robin Cramer : Thanks for the flower garden card. It has a stamp of a flower and framing that is a "seeds" package. It's mounted on green paper and then that is mounted on brown paper. Inside is a package of zinnia seeds. There is a cut out ladybug on the flower on the card and there are also 3 ladybugs stamped and colored on the envelope. Thanks so much for the card and nice note inside. Please email me privately also. Thanks :) Therese Rojales : Thanks sweetie for the Michael's coupons. I really appreciate you sending them to me. Also, I have defended some dumpster divers in my time. In MY mind, it's not worth the hassle to dumpster dive. However, none of them have EVER gotten into any serious trouble, given that the property is deemed abandoned once it hits the outside garbage can, nor has any civil attorney ever threatened to sue them. (Can't get blood from a turnip, and most lawyers want their money). With frugality, simplicity, etc. being a topic of conversation these days, I think more and more people are doing the dumpster diving thing. Something to consider. Just my two cents. I covered the hideous dayglow green with a very lovely soft gray-white. It's called Gypsy Moth and it's really a white with a warm grayish cast. It's perfect. The rest of the bathroom is soft pink, peach, mint green and cream and this white doesn't interfere with any of it. I'm glad I didn't go with cream (I almost did) because the tile is cream and it would have been to....uuhhhh....creamy. And plain ol' white would have been too stark. Good call, Jody. What I learned this weekend?? Don't paint your bathroom during depression, PMS, a hormonal imbalance or any combination of the three. A spur of the moment color change is almost never a good idea. Oh, and wear a shower cap while painting unless you just like using the top of your head as a texturing tool. I'm still picking paint out of my hair, I keep thinking it's just gray hair. I wanted to let everyone know on the list that I got RAK'd from LindaLoo. The card is a white background. It has a black heart with music notes done in black and red hearts around one side of it. It says "Just a Note". Inside she wished me luck with the 50 cards I signed up to do at the last minute for the State/Province/Country Swap. LindaLoo I really appreicated your note, and will be keeping your card. It was really fun doing the State/Province/Country Swap and I did get them done in one weekend. Thanks again for your wonderful RAK.
