The Jewish stamps went really well at the Portland Convention, Julie's story stamps were a big hit especially since Julie was there to talk with people about her drawings! One of the favorites was the "stress" stamp, a large kerplunk type stamp that have little phones, hearts, cars, $'s, etc all around a circle.(H356-$4.25 UM) The Handyman was popular for Fathers Day cards, is a large stamp with man in center with hard hat on and pliers, screwdriver, hammer, saw, wrenches, ladders, meas tapes, nails, screws etc all around him (H426-$4.25UM) The Domestic Goddess stamp with woman in center and cooking things whirling around her, lightening coming out of her spatula's (K377-$5.00 UM) Not to mention Noah's Ark stamp was very popular, the celestial images went right away. It relates to stamping in scrapbooks mostly, but to other items as well. I didn't think much about using dye-based inks in my scrapbooks because I believe the dye will last as long as the color photograph. She pointed out that she is not as worried about the dye fading as running. She try's to use everything that is color permenent so if the album gets wet, it isn't ruined by the ink bleading onto your pictures. She recommended that I use a permenent ink so that I could avoid the ink ruining my pictures. That seemed to make sence to me. - -julie Cyndi Smith wrote: > I'm so glad you brought this up Phil!
