I have been scrapbooking for seven years. I have old photo albums (those plastic-y ones) that are destroying photos from the 60's and 70's....so I see the need to find a better way to protect them. If the concept of archival quality products is a bad thing...why does the Smithsonian use them? Now...I agree that folks can get carried away on the acid free thing, and yes, a tiny bit of acid may get into things from my hands and NO, I do not wear white cotton gloves when I scrapbook....BUT, I believe it to be a matter of the amount...a tiny bit from fingers (or air!) may cause some damage, but not like if I am using large quantities of acidic and lignin soaked products right next to my pictures! Same theory as that of handwashing for sanitation....do you REALLY think you get rid of all the bugs when you wash your hands after using the toilet??? Certainly not...but you are much safer that if you don't wash! (Just look at the outbreaks of hepatitis!) If my descendants don't choose to cherish the family heritage books I am making...oh well. Perhaps they will end up in a museum somewhere...to show the lifestyles of the current age! And THOSEfolks will be glad they are in relatively good shape.... So, I will continue to use pH neutral products....because (sorry, Martha!) I think they are a "good thing"! {{{Rubberhugs}}} Ann-onymous _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Once again you've managed to send me a Magenta stamp that I like AND that I don't already own! I got 3 wonderful, shimmery EPs. These are great. I didn't have a dark purple, only a light purple and the Golden Sunrise looks just like my very favorite EP, Egyptian Gold. Now for my favorite item, a Peony Purple Fabrico pad!!!! I LOVE Fabrico and use it all the time. I don't have this color. I strongly suspect that my friend Victoria has something to do with this because I distinctly remember her asking me what colors I have ;-) I thought she was asking because she wanted to get some for herself! We are 18 hours ahead of you if I've got you in the right timezone. We are definitely 20 hours ahead of CA. Not counting daylight saving on either side. But you do have it right with the PO. They seem to all be on holiday with my outstanding mail, but my order from you arrived yesterday (Tues). Fri - Mon are public holidays here for Easter so that was real fast. They are beautiful stamps Phil, and thank you for the extra templates, not 1 but 4 of them. Thanks heaps. Thank you, Wendy for doing this! Now, everyone has to order the Kokopelli poem from Wendy so that it will be worth her time for putting this in rubber! I don't get anything for it so don't think I'm trying to coerce you ;-) It's in a cool font too that is perfect for the feel of the poem. I feel so famous! Thank you Wendyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
