You know, there's nothing like Tax Day..... unless you just *happen* to come home for lunch (so you can weep), and find your TRIBE package waiting on the front porch! Take THAT, Mr. IRS..... I couldn't BELIEVE the goodies in here!!!!! My TRIBE buddy sent the package through Sara at Stamped Expressions. Boy, oh boy.... There were some SERIOUS goodies in here, and some I have been DYING for..... Thank you O Great TRIBE One. (And Sara, too for your help!) First off, two packs of Class A'Peel stickers: the gold butterflies, and the gold stars. I adore these stickers. Love sticking them on envelopes, and making borders with them. They are so detailed! The most amazing thing, too.... I sadly used my last butterfly about a month ago. Ever since then, I've resisted buying another strip, telling myself they are really kinda expensive..... Now I'm flush in em again!!!!! Thank YOU! Next, embossing powders! Ohhhhh, I love to emboss. If the dang dogs would sit still long enough, I'd emboss them! And STILL might.... (mebbe if I wake up in the middle of the night..... I could decorate the one who doesn't hear too good??) These are amazing colors! Gingerbread, Cinnamon Toast, and Golden Sunset. Of course, with the first two, I was curious to see if they were those smelling kind. So, of course, I took a big old sniff. Let me just say, that was not one of my brighter ideas...... I'll be blowing Gingerbread out of the old schnozola for a while.... LOL I have never seen colors like this..... I just love them, and can't wait to play with them! Digging deeper through the box, I found a jar of Gold Perfect Fx flakes. I can't WAIT to try this stuff out. I've never seen it before. I bought a Magenta clock kit several weeks ago to make a gift for a friend (HEY! I had to have an excuse!), and this will go SO pretty with the exotic paper I had picked out for it. I can't WAIT to try this stuff..... Oh WAIT! I have some of those stamping tiles from Lisa Howard! I'm gonna use it on THAT, too!!! Are y'all jealous yet?? Let me make you greener :) There was also a bottle of High Gloss embossing ink. Perfect! Now I can emboss the WHOLE thing!!! I have such a hard time trying to drag my embossing ink pad over something. Seems like it's more messy than it should be, so this is ideal! And? TWO embossing pens! One that has a regular tip, one that has a calligraphy tip! Thank you Thank you!!!! And, then, last, but CERTAINLY not least..... a HUGE bottle of that Paper Perfect Adhesive! I have been reading and reading about this stuff, and just aching to try it! Naturally, I couldn't figure out WHERE I was going to find it here in collage wasteland. (Hmmmm, if the dog is asleep, I could just SQUIRT this stuff on him, and toss on the FX flakes, and run the heat gun over him..... purty, don't you think??) Ohhhhh, TRIBE buddy, I can't THANK you enough for sending me this package through Sara. It has MADE my day! Thank YOU! Tina/Serene PS of course, it was quite sneaky to send this through Sara as now I have NO clue about who you are.... not EVEN a postmark.... I also scrapbook because I LOVE TO SCRAPBOOK!! It is enjoyable, it's relaxing (most of the time), I have fun, I like to be creative, and on and on. I want my kids, hubby, etc. to enjoy looking through albums and remembering the fun times we have shared as a family. The time we have with our kids seems to pass so fast. I once bought a big roll of clear contact paper; I think that's what they call the shelf liner stuff, thinking I could use it for laminating. Problem with it is it's "frosted", you know, not crystal clear (and also very flimsy) so decided it wouldn't be a good thing for laminating-but it works great for book covers or whatever. I would go with the laminating sheets sold at office supply stores. Such scrumptious goodies... I can't wait to find out who you are! In no particular order... Three adorable little magazine-paper envys, containing gold braid and silver coin charms, two um Judikins seals, and a magnetic photo frame! A glassine envy full of handmade square and hexagonal seals, stamped, embossed and colored in... she made them for me to use to seal envelopes and on packages, and they're just gorgeous! Thank you! you've got to tell me where you get the glassine envys! And I hear they're expensive but I just might have to try the Tria markers someday, the colors are incredibly rich. A huge stack of cardstock halfsheets! All kinds of colors and textures and even some birthday sheets! Three wonderful wood-mounted stamps, Toad Hall's wizard, a Toad Hall postoid of Rapunzel, and a stage light from Stamp Camp. Too much fun! A Zettiology catalog -- and as if this fabulous catalog isn't enough of a gift in ITSELF, she loaded it with um's! They're all over the catty, stuck to their images! (lol) Six in all, and of course they only whet my appetite for more. And a card, of course :) Even the card is extra-special, it's a little card-book thingie! I love it, and now of course I have to copy the idea! :) This really made my day, I was sick all last week and I'm still recovering. Nothing like a super-special SSS package to lift the spirits! :) Chantal This message was from Chantal - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. The old gargage door openers that is true, but if you buy wone that uses a digital code that you set, there should be 65000 choices and that is very unlikely that someone will be able to find the freq and the code. It is like the remote lock on you car has as many or more combinations that the cuts on the edge of a key. A good key as 5 tumblers with a few levels for each one, so if you get 100 combinations in a mechanical lock you are luck.
