Maybe pg-13, maybe R I don't know why, but this one just tickled the yannowhat out of me :) Serene This woman was having an affair during the day while her husband was at work. One day she was in bed with her boyfriend and she heard her husband's car pull in the driveway. She yelled at the boyfriend, "Hurry! Grab your clothes and jump out the window, my husband is home early!" The boyfriend looked out the window and said, "I can't jump out the window! It's raining like hell out there!" She said, "If my husband catches us in here, he will kill both of us!" So the boyfriend grabs his clothes and jumps out the window! When he landed outside he was in the middle of a "running Marathon," so he started running along beside the others only he the nude, carrying his clothes on his arm. One of the runners asked him, "Do you always run in the nude?" He answered, while gasping for air, "Oh yes, It feels so free having the air blowing on your bare skin when you are running." The other runner then asked the nude man, "Do you always run carrying your clothes on your arm?" The nudie answered, breathlessly, "Oh yes, that way I can get dressed at the end of the run and get in my car to go home!" The runner then asked, "Do you always wear a condom when you run?" The nudie answered, "Only if it's raining." This message was from SereneGirl - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Boy, my mailbox sure is a happy camper these days.... Still those bills , but at least they're sitting in there with fun stuff, too! And oh, what a couple of days I've had! I got RAKs from Paula Pecora and Ant Judy! Paula sent a darling Easter Bunny covered in some sort of stuff like flocking, but it was really thin. What was this, Paula?? It looks wonderful! I want to try it! The bunny was mounted on a piece of plaid background paper, and then on solid cardstock. He was sitting in a nest of easter grass! I loved how this looked! Then a card from Ant Judy! My second one in as many weeks! oh, THANK YOU! It came in a clear envy (I love these.... I *need* these), and was a wonderful cottage scene colored with markers (I think) and then had glitter on it, with gold embossed edges. How did you put the glitter on here, Ant Judy? Is this UTEE or something like that over the top of the card? Or is it a layer of that wonder tape stuff? I love the way it looks.... I have SUCH a problem using glitter. Mostly I end up with everything glittered but the card...... I also got my Puppy Name prize from Vicky Bayer Gates. I love this wallpaper and cardstock, but what I REALLY loved about it was that Vicky had coordinated it all! (Which is great for the color-matching impaired like me!!) Thank you, Vicky! And least, but not least, Linda Case, StampinCat, sent me a Stamptastics catty! This is a catty from some folks over in Puyallup, and I am looking forward to seeing these next month at the Puyallup convention! Lots of cute stuff! THANKS everyone! She did the one that's got Thank You in many languages in gold--it's really gorgeous. I think I'll try it with what I call "jacquard"--emboss clear with clear ink and ep (use a fairly detailed stamp and do it all over the cs) , then using about 5 colors of watercolor markers, color in splotches all over the card (my favorite is the tiny pyramid boxes I love) and wipe with a tissue--this takes the color off the embossing, mixes the colors a bit. It ends up looking like brocaded satin--jacquard. The color of the cs shows through--I especially like this with an off white cs. Use all pastels, all pink shades, green and blues, southwest colors, etc. Eileen I have wept in the night for the shortness of sight that to somebody's need made me blind; But I never have yet felt a tinge of regret for being a little too kind. _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Mine came today-am so busy trying to get invites out for a shower, put together my boxes packett, get ready to go out of town for a week--will try very hard to describe these now that I've found them again from everyone in the family looking and loving them--they are absolutely lovely!! Thanks for the extras--I love beads received from: Wenonah Cohen -- a gorgeous embossed and colored so beautifully (pencils?)stamp of a woman holding violets and wearing a real bead necklace--a very clever idea! Linda Yamakido -- wonderful scene of an indian village--beautifully colored with feathers and beads on leather thongs--very nice Kate Hill -- nice collage of crinkle paper, netting, those pretty Japanese covered wires in a gorgeous knot and then dimensionally mounted an intriguiging stamp of two girls by a window with the stars being beads--how'd you glue them on--makes them almost twinkle Ann Sipe -- one white cs a bright pink shell, then below this "strung" on the thinnest silver wire??? I've ever seen (what is this) are five stamped and embossed beads--very clever Linda Edwards -- WOW! On maroon velvet a wonderful PSX brush rose steam heat embossed. This is made into a little bag (can't tell what you're calling it Linda) with beads in same tones, but in little groups of three tiny beads with two of one kind on either side of a slightly larger and lighter one! Lovely work Well--this has got to be one of the very best swaps I've been involved with--all definitely wonderful Thanks everyone, and Anno for hosting and the fun beads Eileen I have wept in the night for the shortness of sight that to somebody's need made me blind; But I never have yet felt a tinge of regret for being a little too kind. _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Balonis" Subject: RS: Monthly Swappers 1998 - Sign up New ONLY REPOST of Monthly Swappers 1998 Groups are being formed for new people - please think about this now and let me know if you want to play. I am looking for a few more people to sign up to finish up a group. ***PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR SNAIL WHEN YOU ASK TO SIGN UP*** HI All This is a great low volume, low pressure swap group. You only make four cards each month for your group. This is the gist of the swap. 1. Each month for the rest of the year each person in a group of 5 sends a card or other stamped goodie to the other four in the group. All goodies must be recv'd by the others in the current month (for example: all cards for April must be recv'd in April, not May 1st). That means that you send things to arrive in that month not on the 30th of the month because it won't be there in time!! This will go on for the entire year. 2. There will be some overseas/Canadian players, so if you do not want to be in a group with out of country players please tell me that in your post to me. Otherwise, if you are in a group with an out of country player remember you need to mail that even earlier for that person to receive the card in the proper month. 3. If a player cannot continue, it will be that players responsibility to find a replacement for themselves. I have had several complaints from others on people not doing their part. I'm helping where I can when asked. BUT I'd really prefer that you play by the rules you agreed to when you all sign up. Let your group know if you have to drop! It is likely someone in your group will be able to find a replacement. If not I'm happy to help. But I'm not the swap police. 4. Once the groups are established and I've posted the names back to you it becomes YOUR GROUP. If you have problems with someone in your group, the group can decide what to do about that person, i.e. drop or whatever. I am organizing the Monthly Swappers 1998 but after that you are on your own. 5. IF you want to be in the same group as last year and agree as a group you don't need to even tell me. Just keep mailing to each other and don't sign up for a new group in 1998! (Unless you want to be in two groups.) I don't need to know about you if you are continuing from your 1997 group. 6. If anyone is interested, PLEASE SEND ME YOUR SNAIL ADDY BY EMAIL, and I will assign you to groups. Please send your snail with a message that you're interested in the Monthly Swappers and then watch for ALL messages that have the words Monthly Swappers in the subject line. So many deleted this before so pay attention! 7. Posting to the list after receipt of you cards is not required or recommended. I recommend that you set up a mail group for your monthlyswappers to email just to that select group when you receive cards or have other things to say. What a great idea and one of my favorite stamps - that I havne't gotten around to getting yet either. It is a cover for a pad and in this case it is one of a lady stampin at her craft table with all her "stuff" spilling all over. Very cute and very well done and colored.
